As the first mother Speaker of the House That is why as Speaker I gaveled the House to order "for all of America's children."
Another odd turn of the phrase. She is using lots of references to the House as children. How very odd she would view her colleagues that way. She probably doesn't even realize she does it.

Thanks for posting the link. I posted the following which I'm sure she will never see.
Speaker Pelosi, You called Congress into session for all of America's children. Does that include the unborn? I would like for them to have the same rights we are given in the constitution, the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (just like your grandchildren)
Thank you for your answer
To: trustandobey
Great Question!! Unfortunately, you’re right - it will never be addressed.

How many gallons per mile does your huge jet get flying you all over the country on your book tour while we who pay for it cant even get an up or down vote on our futures?I bet the carbon footprint (whatever that really is) for her vacation book tour is greater than mine for the entire year.

my question:
Hello Mrs Speaker! I was wondering if you could educate us on the dangers of socialism, if you believe there are any.
thanks,

And what do she suggest refilling the SPR with?
IOUs?
Good one. Or, to invoke the halcyon days of a political firebrand whose voice is surely needed now...
And what do you suggest refilling the SPR with? Spitballs?!?

That may be. The Post's moderator forwards her the questions that they deem relevant. Then it is up to Pelosi to choose which one.
I know this because I did a Post online discussion three years ago.
To: TigersEye
One hour and not one challenging or critical question answered by Queen Pelosi.
To: kristinn
Not challenging but there were two real questions. The answers were her standard boiler plate filled with lies. I just submitted the following. At least some WaPo staffer will read it.
What is the cost of the Democrat "No Domestic Energy Policy?"
- No domestic drilling.
- No new refineries.
- No new nuke plants.
- No new dams for hydro-electric.
- No coal.
- No shale.
- Deplete the SPR.
- Let Iran get nukes.
- Let Iraq fall to Iranian domination.
- No Canadian tar sands oil.
All of that puts the U.S. in a position that war for oil or
complete economic collapse will be our only choices.
You can't frustrate every source of domestic energy
without consequences. Our enemies will blackmail us
to the extent that we are vulnerable to blackmail.
The Democrats are leading us into a real war for oil.
A war we won't have the energy to fight.
The SPR isnt oil in the ground. Its inventory that has already been produced and stored.
Selling any of it reduces inventories on hand and creates a call on future production to replenish the SPR.
Both of these facts put UPWARD pressure on price.

Can I borrow your ball peen hammer?
The last question:
Capitol Hill: Speaker Pelosi, I'm reading constituent letters as I sit at my desk in Cannon (House Office Building) and I find so many men who write us and treat you with such disgrace. It's not fair. Sexist undertones abound in these letters. I am proud of you and think you've done a great job and hope we can get more women elected into positions of power.
To: kristinn
The hammer won’t help. My brain just shut off and left me a threatening message not to ever expose it to this kind of thing again or it would turn on the auto destruct sequence. I don’t think it’s kidding.
