Hey e,

Three videos I found so far:

http://qik.com/video/147257 - Congressman John Carter of Texas explains the reasons why Speaker Nancy Pelosi has left House Republicans no choice but to filibuster to protest her refusal to allow a floor vote on a bill to drill here and drill now in America.

I never said that I wasn't supportive! Or, that I had given up. I'm just not going to sing praises for our Reps that should have taken the stage long ago.

More disappointed than anything else.

I'm disgusted with election year panderers, who act like this problem has just cropped up. Don't accuse me of rolling over on this issue, that is not what I said or advocate.

Yes, you did advocate rolling, you said to little, to late. That means give up guys we should have done something long ago! That is rolling. Also, the congress tried to deal with this when they had a majority and couldn't get Bush to push hard enough and at that time the taxpayers were not sufficiently pissed yet in order to get the majority behind a movement to drill, so the dims and the rinos outvoted the real conservatives. The time is now, the mood is now, saying to little to late is simply throwing cold water on a positive situation.

You can fool yourself if you want and say you are not advocating rolling but the COLD truth is you are advocating it, and judging from other post to you I am not the only one who sees your remark in that light. Have a good day and if you don't want to support this movement I am sure your time can be better spent on some other thread.

I’m so proud of Scott Garrett. He’s my rep as well. I wish I coulda gone down to DC today to join him. You think he’s got anything to worry about this election? I sure hope not. He truly represents the good people up here in the red rural counties of NJ. (I’m up here near High Point State Park).

McCain showing up and thanking them for their work would be icing on the cake! IMHO. It would bring the whole issue full circle back to Washington. Right where it should be.

CNN: Conservative Online Activists Launch #dont Go Website

"A group of conservative online activists launched a new Web site Tuesday to support a call by House Republicans to reconvene Congress and vote on an energy bill.

The site, dontgomovement.com, is intended to be a clearinghouse for information about a protest House Republicans began Friday soon after Congress adjourned for its August recess. "........

......"More than 1100 people have signed up for an e-mail distribution list associated with the site since a preliminary splash page for it went up on the Internet Monday, according to Eric Odom, one of the organizers behind dontgomovement.com."...........

Oh okay. I took the comment to mean that you didn’t think that it was worth the try. And you’d said that’s not the case.

Thanks for clearing that up, Coldwater Creek!

Something lit a fire under these reps, and I’m thankful for it. As long as they stand firm, I don’t see how we can lose.

If you don’t want to appear unsupportive or giving up, I tend to believe you — but it might be good if you prove it.

Last night, Anne Coulter surprised me. She said that for Obama to say that tire pressure will solve the energy crisis would be like saying instead of a health insurance plan, eat an apple a day.

LOL

SWEATERS, TIRE GAUGES, AND FANCY LIGHT BULBS ARE NOT THE PATH TO ENERGY INDEPENDENCE!

This is a great site for bumper sticker ideas. :)

Bumper stickers are one thing.
Stickers placed where it'll hit home is where it's at.
On the gas pumps.

;) But of course as conservatives, we respect private property and would not do such a thing without the consent of the owners.
