Gas Pump Stickers (What I'm doing about gas prices)

I can send folks the WORD file for these stickers so you folks can update them for these historic events in the House.
Just ask.

Hey e,

Three videos I found so far:

http://qik.com/video/147257 - Congressman John Carter of Texas explains the reasons why Speaker Nancy Pelosi has left House Republicans no choice but to filibuster to protest her refusal to allow a floor vote on a bill to drill here and drill now in America.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMUiDQ2w_Oo - Part 1: Pelosi turns off the lights as GOP demands action

Hey there! Nice to “meet” you too, fellow bear country resident :-) If you ever get up to Sussex Cty on a run, check out The Chatterbox drive-in restaurant on Rt 15/206. They have these massive biker get togethers there—i think it’s thurs nites. I drive by there and there must be 200 bikes there every week. Saturdays they have pretty awesome car shows, too. Lotta bikers come up here on the weekends. I don’t bike myself. Too much of a klutz. And how you supposed to eat, fiddle with the radio, and drive at the same time on a bike??

I hear you... for a long time I think we have all been “disgusted” with our reps. Or at least most of them. Which is why this is such an energizing and good thing.

Roll with it!

He’s not a grandstander, either. He is a humble, honest guy representing us well. Not a camera hog. I mean, I guess we need camera hogs too, but I respect the way he conducts himself. He’s a local guy too. Went to High Point High School.

He seemed like a pretty good egg, too. I sent him money when he ran. Instead we got the Gay American. What a shame.

It isn’t the Republicans. They got a drilling bill through Congress in ‘95 or ‘96, the only one that’s gotten through both Senate and House, and Clinton vetoed it. They’ve been trying. They’ve had more bills. They never get past both the House and Senate.

I tell ya who does great work in NJ is Murray Sabrin. I believe he was behind the very successful VOTE NO campaign that helped kill some stupid ballot initiatives last time round. He had radio spots and signs everywhere. It was great. Up here in Sussex Cty, we LOVE voting NO. I do it as often as possible. It's fun. Especially when you win.

Even at the local level. The local gubmint kept squawking that they needed a few million bucks of our money to fix some school boilers. We voted no. They squawked some more and again we voted no. Finally, about a year or so later...guess what? They "found" the money to fix the boilers. I hate gubmint. The only thing it has going for it is that it's preferable to anarchy.
