If we are lucky Bret Schundler will run for office again. He seemed like a pretty good egg, too. I sent him money when he ran. Instead we got the Gay American. What a shame.

I tell ya who does great work in NJ is Murray Sabrin. I believe he was behind the very successful VOTE NO campaign that helped kill some stupid ballot initiatives last time round. He had radio spots and signs everywhere. It was great. Up here in Sussex Cty, we LOVE voting NO. I do it as often as possible. It's fun. Especially when you win.
Even at the local level. The local gubmint kept squawking that they needed a few million bucks of our money to fix some school boilers. We voted no. They squawked some more and again we voted no. Finally, about a year or so later...guess what? They "found" the money to fix the boilers. I hate gubmint. The only thing it has going for it is that it's preferable to anarchy.

If we are lucky Bret Schundler will run for office again. And would that ever be a great thing!
I met Bret a couple of times when he was running for guv. I was on our borough council at the time. Very nice guy, low-key but full of ideas and how to implement them. It was a disgrace how the state Republicans abandoned him for that race. Look what we got instead, and we're still feeling the negative effects.
