I don’t know that boom boom song. Is that like a cheerleading thing?
In the newspaper article, an elderly lady was paying $90 a month for oil. It's now a $250 monthly payment.
Shame on me for assuming. I saw the quotation marks, and thought it was quoted from a source. Congrats on your originality, but as I read the tag thought the Dems wouldn’t be so kind as to leave ANY change in our pockets.
Love that song!!! Great choice, Jersey! thought of that one too and I wanted to go on a lyrics site, but the last time I did I ended up with a computer virus that fried my PC. LOL
Im here at the Capitol right off of the House floor. Rousing speeches, ROARS of cheering and applauseDuncan Hunter got a standing ovation. The tours are being put through the House chamber, so theyre sitting in the members seats on the floor as well as in the gallery.
Historic stuff. Im hearing there will be over 100 GOP members back by Thursday/Friday.

Excellent article!
Yep...we might all want to start digging a hole in our back-yards to hide what we have left in, if they win it all in November.
Hey, Kristinn. Hope you’ve been well.
Is there a list of who’s there? I haven’t seen any on this thread yet.
I prefer...
You Light up my House...
YESSSSS!
It is an old blues song. It has been redone a lot...
150 MILES PER GALLON OBAMA'S 10 YEAR PLAN From an electric plugin hybrid that Obama says "I will direct it to be available within 10 years"? "No nuclear, coal, or offshore, ANWAR, foreign oil! Fill 'er up with a gallon of Solar/Wind stuff!" |
Obama pledged direct financial support for Michigan's bedrock auto industry and urged changes in the way the country creates and consumes energy. He called for $4 billion in guaranteed loans and tax credits to help U.S. automakers retool for more fuel-efficient cars and to develop batteries for plug-in hybrids that get up to 150 m.p.g. The new breed of automobiles would fetch a $7,000 federal tax credit for buyers. ..Obama said the auto industry would benefit from his $150-billion, 10-year plan to develop alternative energy sources, including fuel cells to power vehicles. "I know how much the auto industry and the autoworkers of this state have struggled over the last decade or so," Obama told about 1,000 supporters at the Lansing Center who sang him "Happy Birthday" on his 47th. "But I also know where I want the fuel-efficient cars of tomorrow to be built -- not in Japan, not in China, but right here in the United States of America. Right here in the state of Michigan." Obama also called again for an immediate $1,000 "energy rebate" to U.S. families, paid for with higher taxes on oil company profits. Obama HQ |
Over 10,000 signatures now on Call Congress Back petition!
That is awesome...
Okay, I remember it now. Maybe Louis Prima did it or one of those early jive singers. Pelosi doesn’t look very well lately either. Maybe the media is putting a filter on their lenses cuz she looks fuzzy on tv. Remember they did that with Cybil Sheperd who had nothing to be ashamed of...
BTTT
Yes it is!...and for anybody that missed the link...here it is again...
