All, watch for the Rush transcript later on today. Not only did he say their “guerrilla tactics were just what the doctor ordered” but he had a parody of SanFranNan prepared. Excellence in Broadcasting? Absolutely! Rush is the master. Shame on Laura Ingraham and Glenn Beck for booting the opportunity. Maybe they’ll catch up tomorrow. Well, my senator’s office (which seemed bored and irritated with the question despite the ostensible Republican designation) said that asking for a quorum call in the senate would do no good. It wouldn’t force anyone back. A quorum, according to this guy, is only necessary when business is being conducted, and doesn’t apply to pro forma sessions.

I still think they should do it, as it would at least force the Dem stuck with the day’s pro forma duty to stay there while the clerk slowly drones through the names, allowing each time to respond.
