Just spoke to her staff..she is still there on the house floor:)
I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
WELL DONE POST!!
Sorry. I was slow to get that.
it’s been a long day. Looks like it was all for show.
I am sorry, but it was. I may be banned for thinking that.
I guess he cares to be reelected in Texas!

My concern is that the headlines will read something like:
Texas Tea Party Over in Time for Dinner
Nancy heard laughing in the distance
bookmark for video link later...
I saw that ad and wanted to puke.
Yes, there are. Chocolate flavored, even! LOL
Remember the meeting our friend had with some members of the House this week? :) :)

Was that Bush ?
“Got a source for that?”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peak_oil
World crude oil demand grew an average of 1.76% per year from 1994 to 2006, with a high of 3.4% in 2003-2004. World demand for oil is projected to increase 37% over 2006 levels by 2030 (118 million barrels per day (18.8×106 m3/d) from 86 million barrels (13.7×106 m3)), due in large part to increases in demand from the transportation sector.[10][11]
The last time revolt happened in the halls of the House were in 1858. The prominent parties literally came to blows over slavery. This is no different with one party enslaving the entire US citizenship to foreign interests. The Sergeant at Arms comes, they should clear the House and bring the cots and luggage on the steps.
How about Iowa also? I would be willing to drive a ways (I live on the IL/IA border).
Is armed Revolution out of the question?
I’m ready!
