Felt in San Diego too. Pretty long for a quake.
Man that was a BIG ONE....Rocked and Rolled fro a LONG Time.....
Yikes, I heard it before it hit. It seemed pretty major. To shook up to read the maps. Where was that centered?
It lasted a good 30 seconds in Riverside. I was tempted to stop working for a second and dive under my desk.
That was quite a shaker alright. Felt it read good here near the coast. 2nd shock was bigger than the 1st.
Decent sideways movement in Chula Vista south of San Diego at 11:43 a.m..
Rolling motion for maybe 5 seconds. Nothing fell. With the first report near Dodger Stadium, this may be centered on the San Andreas.
Radio just broke in at 11:45 with possible center in Los Angeles County.
5.6 on the Richter scale, ( 2 mi) SW of Chino Hills, CA
The epi-center was MY CLASSROOM!! I swear! It did the shimmy for what felt like about 15 seconds! I was just holding very still, thinking, “uh... uh... please don’t collapse!” LOL! (I’m in Los Feliz, western edge, near Hollywood.)
Got a very strong rattling in the Murrietta/Temecula area too! Nothing broken though.
Strong jolt here in Long Beach. Lasted about 10 seconds. Some slow rolling motion afterwards.
Preliminary 5.6, centered near Chino.
Felt it real good here in Burbank. Shook a long time (of course our building is on rollers). No damage to our building.
USGS going with a preliminary magnitude of 5.6...

Rattled pretty good up here in the mountains.
Looks like they upgraded it to 5.8.
CalFire in San Diego just gave the order to pull all the apparatus out of the bays. It felt like a local 3.0 or so down here, so the number’s going to be substantial if the center’s in the LA area.
Felt it in Glendale also. I guessed 4.5 to 5.5. It did shake for about ten seconds. It did move things on my desk pretty good.
In before the aftershocks
