This is bad for Obamabi when one considers the almost total media saturation that he enjoys. In spite of all the spending on ads, the fawning of the media and his name being uttered almost every hour, this is the best that he can do. He is a one hit wonder who is wearing thin on the public.

Sounds about right. In a contest between the two worst nominees perhaps ever, it should be close. The winner will likely be the one who makes the fewest dumb statements, and Obama has been making more dumb statements lately, which would explain his losing his lead against McCain.

I figure polls are going to be tight and maybe even showing
Obama leading considering the liberal bias of the media and pollsters. But on election day undecideds will break more than 3/4 for McCain , similiar to what happened in swing states with Hillary & Barry. McCain will win.

I think McCain released his most recent fund-raising figures (about 20 million in one month, more or less), but Obama’s campaign has yet to do so. There was talk of the high tens of millions, now the word seems (for the same reporting period) to be around 30 million.

Obama peaking?

This will tighten the sphincter of the MSM and we will soon see plenty more articles about the meanness of the GOP and the benevolence of the DNC.

I think where Obama is in the polls will play a big role in who he picks as a veep candidate. If ahead, he will go with someone he believes he can stomach; if behind, he will risk four years of hell with the Hildabeast & Co. I'd rather have him ahead and pick some stiff like Dodd, and McCain to pick the Alaska Governor to woo the female vote.

Wow, shifting fast, and Newsweek shows a strong trend toward McCain as well.

Hahaha! Obama sucks more than McCain sucks. Great for the US.

It is pretty bad when the messiah can’t get a convincing lead. Hahaha!

what’s interesting about RCP combined, is that the two polls from June (McLaughlin and CNN) are the only ones showing a significant lead for the Messiah(8% and 5%), all the July polls show tightening including Gallup (6% to 4% in one day).

Obama's modest bump has faded. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a race (which I expect to win)!

The McCain List.

I think we will have a president Mcain much to my displeasure. I think obama is completely unelectable. The middle of america as well as solid dem voters such as seniors and Jewish will never vote for obama. Personally I dont even think it will be close.

One has to think as the election approaches that undecideds will shift in greater numbers toward McCain.

Like most here, I’m not thrilled with McCain, however his experience dwarfs that of Obama. And I think McCain ‘gets it’ when it comes to national security issues. That alone will gain him my vote.

Considering all the pundits yapping that this is the dems’ year and the fact that Obama has gotten 100% positive press coverage, he should be leading by at least 20 points. Are people catching on that Hopey Changey is a dangerously inexperienced dope?
