Fox News is announcing that Tony Snow has died.
Heartbreaking news.
Prayers for Tonys family...
I'm gonna miss that guy...(sniff)
Truly one of the good guys. I know he’s going to hear “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
bttt
There are not many people in the media, if any, that I admire or want to emulate in all aspects of life. Tony Snow is the exception. I’m very saddened and the news instantly brought tears to my eyes. That just doesn’t happen with me.
Prayers for all who knew and loved him.
We all appreciated your wonderful notes from seeing him.
There’s an empty spot he leaves that will not be replaced.
Many here remember his posts, and his witty commentary, on FR to the daily thread about his show. They were all removed when he was first nominated for WH press secretary. It would be nice if somehow they could be restored so that we could once again enjoy them...
((((FOX)))), I thought of you first, but I did not want to be the one to tell you.
A true prince of a man.
God bless and comfort his grieving family and dear friends.
This is terrible news. Tony will be missed. God Bless him and my sympathies to his family.
Tragic news ... God Bless Tony Snow :(
In Tony Snow’s death, a bright light is no longer shining. I am deeply saddened, like so many others, by Tony’s passing. Whenever I spoke to or met with Tony, he was upbeat and energetic and full of life — even when he was going through his cancer treatments. Humanity is worse off by Tony’s death. But I know God has met him at the gates of Heaven with open arms. I wish Tony’s family God’s speed and peace at this very difficult time.
Oh my Lord. Oh this is just heartbreaking.
What a wonderful good man. God Bless you Tony!! Prayers for his family!
..., but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
Words escape me...
Tony was the absolute best in everything he did. I Do believe it was because he was such a man of faith and pure of heart, and was well before his diagnosis. I’d read his writings back in his Washington Times days, followed thru with FNS and his outstanding job at the White House. Tony has been nothing but a class act.
What a loss for his wife and children. Pray God gives them the strength and comfort they need at this time. Somehow, don’t we all get the feeling that Tony prepared his family in every way for this day? May he rest in peace after a life well lived.
Tony, Thank you for everything you will be missed. :-(
I didn't know that Tony was following one of the threads. I was regaling the Snowflakes about our tour and mentioned seeing Major Garrett in jeans with the word THUD.
The thread and Tony had a good time with that post for a couple days.
RIP Tony.
:’(
So sad.
