In Tony Snow’s death, a bright light is no longer shining. I am deeply saddened, like so many others, by Tony’s passing. Whenever I spoke to or met with Tony, he was upbeat and energetic and full of life — even when he was going through his cancer treatments. Humanity is worse off by Tony’s death. But I know God has met him at the gates of Heaven with open arms. I wish Tony’s family God’s speed and peace at this very difficult time.

My screen save is a picture of Tony at the podium in the White House briefing room. That dazzling smile always reminded me to get the best out of every day.
