Former President Bill Clinton called for Zimbabwe leader Robert Mugabe to step down immediately or form a power-sharing arrangement with his chief opponent.
The former presidentcalled Mugabe "a puppet of the military establishment" and singled out a Washington Post story that exposed coercion, intimidation, beatings and profession killings by the ruling-party s militias.

Clinton’s as relevant as Carter, now.
“Clintons as relevant as Carter, now.”
Oh, I think Bill & Hill Clinton could be quite useful in the coming months....
One discredited and corrupt Scroat chides and chastises another.
Mugabe’s been in power for almost 30 years. During 8 of those years, clintoon was in office. What did clintoon do relative to Mugabe? Kissy face and huggy bear?

Then, when the Iraq War went wayyy bad, all the Leftside tough guys vanished.
As my grandfather would have said:
“Bill Clinton, all consonants, no vowels.”
The results are there for the World to see.
Can we not send hussien obama to zimbabwe to “audition” for the role of US president? At very least let’s send him down there to “unconditionally negotiate” with mugabe.
Also, for you guys that hate clinton so much, you will be longing for the days of the clinton presidency if hussein obama is elected. Think about that next time you rag on McCain.
Go over to Harare and say that, Bubba.
Ya 5-star debauched chickenhawk.
Mugabe’s the same monster he always was - but he’s been getting a lot of bad press lately. Seems the liberals are turning away from him - finally. Maybe Mugabe’s not making “donations” on time anymore... ya gotta put the coins into the turnstyle...
Believe you are right. Denver is going to be fun to watch.
Actually, Mugabe gained the leadership of Zimbabwe in 1980.
Those clumsy oafs. They should use private detectives and Arkancides to do the job.
Helluva way to describe St. Ronnie, tho.
“a puppet of the military establishment”
He could of called Mugabe a typical Marxist dictator, but wouldn’t have played well in Aspen.
The Democratic Party is full of “progressives” who love dictators like Mugabe. It’s too bad Clinton didn’t discover that Mugabe was reprehensible when Bill was in the White House.
Did he bite him on the lip? And say, "Put some ice on that?"
