I think Letterman is really funny. He falls down, however, with his obvious liberalism. He knows nothing about politics. He should stick to being a funny man. I don’t watch him any more because I can’t get past his liberal attitudes.

The night I saw Letterman fawning all over his first guest, the Obamessiah, many many months ago now, was the last time I ever tuned in to Late Night.

I knew Letterman to be a fool, I just had never realized how BIG a fool he truly is.

I used to love Letterman. However, in recent years he’s gotten plenty political. It comes across as the usual liberal whining and moaning. It is unfunny and exactly what CBS doesn’t need. I can’t watch him anymore.

Oh yeah! The LAST time I watched David Letterman was the interview he did with George Bush before he became President. For MONTHS he was making fun of George Bush's intelligence.

And then finally GB proved he had the balls to show up on David's show. So what did Letterman do? He asked GB about his "investments" because much was made of the fact GB was worth about $20 million. And GB said he doesn't know because it is in a blind trust to prevent conflict of interest. David completely ignored GB response and asked, "So what companies are you invested with?" And George replied, "I don't know... otherwise it wouldn't be a blind trust!"

The look of David's face was absolutely priceless. I lost all respect for him and never watched another one of his shows...

I abandoned Letterman long ago. Too weird, not really funny, WAAAAAYYYYY too liberal.

Leno will at least throw some jibes at the libs, although I can only stomach him in small doses. I will watch his headlines on Mondays, they are worth staying up late.

I stopped watching Letterman years ago when his idea of funny was making faces and noises and repeating himself endlessly. Maybe funny to a 4 year old, but not to me.

Same here.

I agree completely. Letterman is so much funnier than Leno and has better writers but his obvious liberalism turned me off so I turned him off.
