I abandoned Letterman long ago. Too weird, not really funny, WAAAAAYYYYY too liberal.
Leno will at least throw some jibes at the libs, although I can only stomach him in small doses. I will watch his headlines on Mondays, they are worth staying up late.

I hate to sound like an old-timer, but both Jay Leno and David Letterman are so untalented compared to Johnny Carson.
Carson could do standup, interviews, and lots of comedy skits,
as well.
Neither Letterman or Leno are as versatile or watchable as Johnny Carson was.
