A 14-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with murder after she allegedly killed her newborn baby in a school bathroom.
Baytown, Texas, police said the eighth-grade student submerged the 7 pound infant in a Cedar Bayou Junior School toilet and jammed toilet paper down his throat so he wouldn't cry, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Police have been investigating the incident since the baby was found April 2.
The baby also suffered blunt trauma to his head and neck, according to a Harris County autopsy.
Gerald Yoakum, the girl's attorney, claims she wasn't aware that the baby was in the toilet because she was bleeding profusely. The teenager who claims not to have known she was pregnant wore loose clothing to hide her growing belly.
"Please remember that this is a 14-year-old child who has experienced a tragic event," he wrote in a statement.

Not quite as tragic as having her head smashed, mouth stuffed with toilet paper, and forcefully held underwater until she dies, kind of tragic.........
“Is this the socialization that homeschoolers are missing? ( Just wondering?)”
Yes. All public school children do this. Thankfully, you have chosen the only moral path for your kids, because like all publicly educated kids, they would turn out murderous if you didn’t.
There are no good kids in public school. None. It may well be that your kids are the only good ones on this earth, so feel good about that!
Pa-rental unit .............
Don’t forget about the Texas Mormons!
“Please remember that this is a 14-year-old child who has experienced a tragic event”
Yes of course. Murdering your child with your bare hands is quite tragic.
Dem’s will give her a medal... no cost to the abortion slaughter houses. What an animal...
And with so many good people / families longing for a baby...
Well what person would want her to be “punished” with a baby .....eh Obama?
I believe these are the
the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society that Justice Kennedy referred to in the child rape case.
I have a friend who is a NURSE — great family, thought she was close to her 14 year old daughter — no secrets — she didn’t have any friends the mom didn’t know about — church going — nice girl, friendly, no “secretive” life that anyone knew about.
One morning my friend found a crying newborn all bloody on her doorstep wrapped in a towel that looked familiar. They called the police — she woke up her daughter who was sleeping. Police were suspicious — asked to speak to the daughter alone. Parents almost said no, but last minute said ok. Daughter breaks down — admits she gave birth on the bathroom floor the night before and panicked — becuase her mom did NOT know she was full term pregnant. Decided to put baby on doorstop to cover it up. Police asked how no one heard her giving birth — she said she “tried really hard not to scream”.
My friend — the mom and now grandma — said her duaghter didn’t even look like she had gained one single pound that year — was a NURSE — and had no clue. To this day she cannot imagine how her daughter could give birth on the bathroom floor of their home just several feet away from the parents’ master bedroom and she never heard one thing.
They fought and spent a ton of $$$, but the family ended up getting custody of that baby, and the girl went on to marry and raise the baby with the help of her parents. She has other children and a happy life. But it took that family HELPING her instead of just locking her up and throwing her and the baby away. She was on probation and did community service and was humiliated at school, and in the papers. But it worked out.
It happens...
The government will **force** someone's child to sit next to her. Yes, that is the socialization that someone's homeschooler will be missing.
Please remember, that government **force** means armed police with real bullets.
Just think about the “punishment” she’s going to live the rest of her life once her innate sense of right and wrong finally matures to the point that it convicts her conscience every day.
Looking at all the comments here.... I’m wondering too about the poor girl who must have found this baby in the toilet. She must be having nightmares every night. Poor thing.
Good point!
Can you imagine that? Wow!
You’re right about teens not thinking correctly.
But that is preciously why the sex education they get is so damaging. They spend their days in a secular humanist temple where nothing is wrong for most of their lives, and you think some short message of “if you get pregnant, go to the firehouse and leave your baby there” will make a dent in the 6 to 7 years of “there is no right or wrong” indoctrination?
No way. That way is insanity. It hasn’t worked and it won’t work because there is NO MORAL FOUNDATION. Period.
Thanks for the info.
Oh yeah.
“the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society”
Standards of decency do not evolve.
Our society is not maturing in the sense of becoming more civilized and wise. We are becoming more brutal, coarse, barbaric and perverted. America of 100 years ago was MUCH more civilized.
