Sodertalje has taken in more Iraqis than U.S., but mood is changing...
SODERTALJE, Sweden - In this lakeside town, once best known as the home of Swedish tennis hero, Bjorn Borg, neighborhoods nicknamed "Little Baghdad" and "Mesopotalje" now echo with arguments over Assyrian soccer. Along the city's tree-lined waterfront, young Iraqi families and groups of older men chat in Arabic, enjoying long summer evenings.

Swedes: flee before it's too late. It's not the religion of peace.
From what are they fleeing?
Flee, hell. It’s Sweden; it’s their country. Assimilate them. Cumpulsory education in language, culture, history and community service. Do it now, or fight them later.
Read the article. They’re Iraqi Christians.
Never happen. Those who have left Iraq aren't the patriots, they're the islamic zealots.
Look at Detroit, et al.
Assimilate? No way.
“It’s not the religion of peace.”
The article is about Iraqi Christians, not Mohammedans. One of the primary results of our war in Iraq has been the near total destruction of the Iraqi Christian community. Of course, that’s what long standing American foreign policy is and has been all about east of the Adriatic, support of Mohammedanism and the destruction of Eastern Christian communities.

Not all are Christians unless there was a St. Mohammed.
You posted the article. Did you read it?

You've probably learned this already and have possibly forgotten: not all 'news media' are honest.
I don’t know what your reply is supposed to mean.
And for the record, are you against all muslims and should none of them be allowed to immigrate?
Aside from appearances - the homogeneous fair-haired Swede being endangered - it is safe to assume that Christians are not a threat to Sweden's society or culture; or their 'laws'- Liberal or otherwise. That said, we know that there are NO quite as safe assumptions ABOUT the Muslims who have arrived en masse. So, where is the 'rest of the story' here?
Seems that MSNBC is fine critiquing Christians - and easing fears re immigrants. For many Muslims; it IS another story; and for a Liberal MSM; a story, not fit to print.
The article you posted was about Iraqi Christian refugees. If you have a link the the Der Spiegel article, post that.
Many are Christians or Assyrians fleeing form the attacks on any groups that do follow Islam’s “Religion of Peace” claim. This article is about Iraqi minority groups finding a safe haven to live their lives from Islamic and terrorist attacks. What is upsetting me is our FREEPER Islam-a-phobes on this site should read the article posted first rather than post fire-and-forget comments. This is one article that needs to be read before inserting foot in mouth. To clarify I an not a Dhimmi nor will I ever be one but to paint all Iraqis as followers of Muhammad is adding more fuel to the fire. Many of the people their I met in Iraqi when I deployed there were good people just trying to live their lives in peace.
glad someone is taking them in, thanks swedes. a lot are without power/water, its a good gesture.
Nagiba Daud, front, prays at Johannes Church in Sodertalje, Sweden. The 52-year-old devout Christian fled Baghdad with her two sons after their family received death threats and their house was burned down. |
The stupid article wouldn't distinguish between the Christian refugees and Muslim migrants, rendering the numbers they offer meaningless.
Mohammed here happens to be the last name. The question is, is there a St. Ridha?
I am more puzzled by the rush of neopagan names in white Anglo-Saxon Protestant America.
Iraqi Christians should be no problem. They have seen the extreme hate and violence of the Cult of Death, and should appreciate living in a civilized country.
Too bad the President didnt have you as an advisor when he formulated his plan to spank terror.
