We know in the past the Earth has been both much warmer and colder. Is there any past correlation with temps and earthquakes in the geological record. something easy to check.

Fruitcake? I can't imagine what would make you think that.
Dr Tom J. Chalko lives in Mt Best, Victoria, Australia. He holds PhD in laser holography since 1979 and MEngSc in engineering since 1975. From 1982 to 2001 he was an academic at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He enjoys a good health, that he has restored himself in 1994 from quite a miserable state. He plays classical guitar exceptionally well, enjoys windsurfing (he calls himself a speed addict here), takes time to practice meditation, telepathy and astral travel. His hobbies include challenging paradigms and paradoxes in geophysics, studying puzzling properties of electro-photonic glow (Auras) using Kirlian camera, learning to see human aura, discovering purpose of life, as well as organizing controversial seminars.

There is no end to waht is blamed on GW. Almost as much as is blamed on GWB! Let's just call it Global Dubya Bush, and cover all the bases.
All this hysteria is sounding like the Good Times virus hoax from years gone by.

Actually Chalko may be on to something. All the "electro-photonic" glow from liberal moonbats is heating up the world. His own images show that this is true. Look at the energy being radiated by the person in the photo, as granola is changed into electro-photonic kirlian energy -- which is trapped by the atmosphere!! /Art Bell Sarcasm

There has been a massive increase in papercuts due to global warming. Toenails grow faster. Tasmanian devils are acting strangely. Polar bears are annoyed. People buy more tacky clothes. Women crave more Splenda. Corns and bunions are off the charts. Ring around the collar is rising. Natives of a coral atoll saw no rise in sea level, but their latrine smelled worse. Two guys in Milwaukee didn’t get their car wax applied during a car wash. Birds crapped on the Mercedes of a Democratic Senator. We expect to see much more of this as the global catastrophe unfolds.

correlation not equal causation
This is a common “research” flaw. Two items happen but that does not mean that one caused the other.

He could be right, except that it’s probably the warming from the inside-out rather than the outside-in doing the damage...
If someone maintained that there’s increased earthquake activity because we’re not relieving tectonic stresses by pumping out enough crude oil from the crust, do you think that would get any attention?

Mark 13:8

Global warming not required.

No second Chance: Can Earth Explode as a result of Global Warming? This is too rich. I'm going to post that article separately, if I can stop from laughing long enough!!

May I please copy the link from properties and use it in other FR threads? There is a $12.50 licensing fee, and if you use it on a sports thread, it's a hundred bucks.
No exceptions.

This could be true.
After all we have seen a stunning short term rise in temperatures in the Upper Midwest.
I did some research and found that we have had a astounding 60 degree rise in mean daily temperatures in just the past 5 months.
I used to be a global warming skeptic, but after I put this temperature data together, I am a believer.
We must take action immediately....

I think the licensing fee will either require genuine cash, or perhaps vials of blood or even a kidney.
This licensing stuff is brutal.
