ya know what is really funny pop? EVERY lib I know is just as angry about the price of oil as we are, some more so. The libs are going to lose on this one! It just might sway the entire election.

Go, W, Go!

ANWE

Offshore

Rocky Mountain shale

Everywhere else.

Dimocrats want higher gas prices, I guess, because they are blocking/canceling legislative bills and amendments.

UNELECT THE DIMOCRATS!

This statement is just politics as usual. If he was serious he would have lifted the executive orders that are in the way of Drilling and other impediments. He could also issue executive orders to prevent a lot of the governmental agencies from getting in the way. Especially the EPA.

there’s a category of libs in cambridge and portland and arlington va that remains opposed to any drilling anywhere, at this juncture for no sound environmental or conservation reason but mainly because they want us fatassed rightwingers and Republicans peddling bicycles to work and to the grocery store, just like any third-world peasant (after all, we’re no better than them).

of course the solipsistic and angry liberal do-gooder doesn’t understand that the vast American landscape does not include Metrorail or BART or The T, but rather many miles of nothingness between towns and cities, and that hauling 20 tons of organic sunflower seeds to the Whole Foods warehouse is not possible with bicycles.

the basic motivation of the committed urban leftie is to stick it to the Republicans and Jesus freaks. make ‘em walk or take a bus.

You guys might profit from this post. It's long, but it's worth it.

I've tired of explaining how this works to screaming dupes.

Hey, Sign Guy, you’re an idiot. How do you even manage to figure out a ballpoint pen?

The oil companies will pass on the added taxes to their consumers. If they don’t do that, then their profits as a percentage of operating costs will be so low that their stock will never attract buyers.

Did I mention you’re an idiot, Sign Guy?

The same with the minimum wage increase the dems are always screaming about. Salaries go up and guess what-so do prices. So they're right back in the same boat as before.

Think of the thousands of new high paying AMERICAN jobs that would be created from manufacture and deployment of deep water rigs that could be deployed in the heretofore unaccessible state and federal waters. Not to mention the huge influx of money into state and federal treasuries from royalties and production taxes. It only makes sense to open and develop these areas. Think globally but drill locally!

“THANK YOU! “

Yeah it’s alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the presidents fault . I guess if you say it enough almost everyone will believe it .

Oh , and on the odd and even days . I remember people trying to bribe the attendants , and there was a $500 fine to the station if they were caught pumping on the wrong day .

“The Shale Oil is largely on Federal Land, the technology is now MORE than economical to run, its PROFITABLE, and it’s estimated to be THREE TIMES the size of the Saudi reserves. 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!! WTF. Here is the kicker, the CONGRESS has BLOCKED the production of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ WHY!??!??!!!!! “

Glad you figured that out. Hopefully others will.

BTW, the exclamation points are really unnecessary if, when making a written argument, the content is reasoned and factual.
