DNC needs to raise $15 million by tomorrow
Boston herald ^ | 06/15/08 | Associated Press

The host committee for the Democratic National Convention faces a possible shortfall of $15 million, complicating logistics for the August event and forcing it to abruptly postpone a media walkthrough of the site scheduled for next week.

The Democratic National Committee has asked the cash-strapped panel to raise $40.6 million by tomorrow to finance the event. Last month, the committee said it had just $25 million in cash, and it has failed to meet each of several fund-raising deadlines since signing a contract with the DNC last year.

I for one would be a lot happier about this news if the Republicans were running a Conservative.

I think they are. One. For something. Somewhere.

Whatever happened to “The democrats are out-fund raising the Republicans?”

Guess that was just more MSM lies. I am getting used to the lies, I am.

Too bad you don’t have some old Soviet roubles with the face of Lenin on them to send.

Unfortunately, I don't think the American people supporting the democrat and it's golden cow would actually care.

The independents? Probably. But the Soros ties really haven't had much of an impact as of date. Besides, the MSM wont harp on it...look at the way it covered the recent Supreme Courts decision of allowing terrorists the same rights we have, in OUR courts PAID FOR BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!

Sorry about the caps, I'm still ticked off talking about it....

Sort of, there is a media consumption split in the US NGZ, the sources of information for the average American have now become difused.

Meaning the MSM may not cover it, but “our” media outlets will, Soros is a Obamao Paternalist, and a dedicated Anti American.

That matters to “us” at least.

oh they will....illegally... then we will find out about it 6 months after the election. Then there will be comments from concerned democrats saying... “ I am sure there may have been some over enthusiastic donations but I assure you it is our intention to follow all the rules”..... Then after 3pm eastern time on july 3rd there will be a small ap article that says....” The election commission found illegal donations to the denver democratic convention but feels there is not enough evidence to prosecute...”

And so it continues....

I’ve studied campaign contributions a bit. It’s pretty complicated. Each party moves money around from one PAC to another to get around the rules. My guess is, when all the various entities are aggregated, that the donations are a lot more equal than Big Media plays it.

The DNC crying "Wolf!" for the umpteenth time. Between the '06 elections, to Cankles and Barry this year, the DNC, DCCC, Donkey 527's, et al, have had a billion dollars pass through their hands.

This poor-pockets bs-du-jour is solely to prove that Dean can raise an eight-figure sum from subway-seat fart-suckers on short notice, as Hillary & Bubba will be all out to replace the Screamer after Barry loses.

Is Howie a great leader or what? Sort of gives insight into how effective Nobama 08 would be.

Perhaps Warren Buffett will consider the DNC to be a good investment. Today's business leaders make money by having laws manipulated to suit them, not by innovating or competing.

The last story I read said that the RNC was doing much better then the DNC at raising money. Operation Chaos has had their donners donating to the primary race where their were two candidates pretty much equally loved. Now 1/2 of that donating group are really upset and have probably closed their purses for the season. Republicans seem to always wait for a nominee before sending money and in the meantime support the RNC knowing it will help with Congressional races. I think it’s great that they wasted what they might need for the general in the primaries. Like I said before here in Ohio we’ve been seeing McCain ads daily for about a month or more and zero from BO.

DNC needs to raise $15 million by tomorrow

How come? Did they finally decide to do the right thing and start paying reparations for being the party of slavery and Jim Crow all those years?

That picture of the guy on the bulls horn just gives me the creeps. My husband raises rodeo bulls and someday if he's not careful.......... YIKES!

I wonder if I could get a poster of that pic to put where he would see it everyday and remember to be more careful.

"Right-Click" on the picture and click "Save Image As" and give it a name.

now you can use MS-Paint or any other photo package to adjust the size and print it out...

best of luck for Mr.Ditter 8^)
