In this election we have very a clear choice to make.
A choice between Victory against Islamic Terrorism or surrender to our terrorist enemy.
A choice between free market capitalist economy or socialism.
A choice between constructionist judges or liberal judges who legislate from the bench.
A choice between Life for the unborn or abortion on demand going wild.
A choice between lower taxes or higher taxes.
A choice between small government or big government.
A choice between John McCain or Barack Obama.
Let us choose John McCain. A Patriot, a war hero, and would be an excellent President.
God Bless America and our brave troops.
When I make my decision in November about who to vote for, Bob Barr's, association with the pro-choice, open borders, anti WOT Libertarian party and Barr's association with the anti American ACLU will certainly be a factor.
Look up the votes of McCain and the votes of Obama, then tell us that McCain did not support Roberts or Alito.

I can remember a time when I actually admired John McCain. I broke with him around 1999, when he was leading the charge against “Big Tobacco.” He’s degenerated considerably since then to become the pandering old fool he is today.
Come on! Illegals are socialists! Let another 35 million of them vote and it's Katie bar the doors and put America on greased skids straight into 3rd world socialist hell.
heh
maybe if its close
but no mandate
and if he is going to lose anyway, he should lose hard.
probably go 3rd
kind of a mavrick voter myself
Well said, I feel the same way.
John McCain: “I could never nominate a Justice like Samuel Alito who wears his conservatism on his sleeve.”
We had to remove your post because material from rawstory.com is not welcome on Free Republic.
I don't think my own post defending a possible vote for Sen. McCain should be read exactly as a resounding endorsement.
Just a recognition that the alternative is a thorough-going cultural marxist and totalitarian communist.
It's merely that I fear an Obama presidency more than a McCain presidency.

Boy, the facts just get in the way.
Growing up is what this nations self-centered, ignorant of history and economics voter base needs to do if we are ever to going make progress towards fixing what's wrong. We can't do it by ourselves. Some folks have to learn things through trial and error. It's time once again for the "stupids" of this country to touch the stove and burn their hands. Let them.
Would you characterize him as honest? That’s what I look for most, in anybody.
Sorry to break the news to you, but this already happened from 2001-2003 and McCain caused with the Republicans the entire time. It was Jeffords who caucused with the Dems (Zig Zag Zell Miller also caucused with the Dems and voted to let Daschle run things, but somehow freepers continue to hail Zell as a "true conservative" Dem)
Hate to break it to you, but they were in discussions with McCain, initiated by McCain, when Jumpin’ Jeffords made the talks moot.
???
Who did you have in mind?
Thanks,

Your point? He’s been on so many sides of the fence that his splinters have splinters.
Keep in mind “why” we have McCain. I ain’t happy either.
He wasn’t against Alito.
