JERUSALEM – Jerusalem and the Temple Mount belong to the Muslims and any Israeli action that "offends" the Mount will be answered by 1.5 billion Muslims, declared the chief of staff for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
"Jerusalem is Muslim. The blessed Al Aqsa mosque and Harem Al Sharif (Temple Mount) is 100 percent Muslim. The Israelis are playing with fire when they threaten Al Aqsa with digging that is taking place," said Abbas' chief of staff Rafiq Al Husseini.
The Temple Mount is Judaism's holiest site.
Husseini was referring to Israeli plans to construct a new bridge from the Western Wall area to the Temple Mount.
The old bridge was damaged two years ago. When Israeli workers tried to repair it, Palestinian leaders claimed the work was threatening the Al Aqsa Mosque, even though the mosque is located hundreds of feet away, the work did not tunnel under any Mount foundation or touch any structure connected to the mosque, and the repair work – which had been pre-approved by Jordan and the Mount's Muslim custodians – was conducted under the scrutiny of an accessible 24/7 webcam.
"Any hurting of Jerusalem will explode the whole negotiations between us and the Israelis ... we must work to strengthen Palestinian ties to Jerusalem," al-Husseini said.
Israel has been negotiating with Abbas in line with talks started at last November's U.S.-backed Annapolis Summit, which seeks to create a Palestinian state before the end of the year. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is widely expected to offer the Palestinians most of the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem. The Temple Mount is located in eastern Jerusalem.
Mainstream Palestinian leaders claim the Temple Mount is Muslim in spite of overwhelming archaeological evidence documenting the first and second Jewish temples.

I just spoke to the Mount this morning while I was attending services at Saint Mattress of the Springs and it told me it was fine if Israel wants to fix the bridge.
Future President Obama has said he will not pick out a new church until January after the election. Is that when he is going to come out of the closet and embrace Islam at the Temple Mount!
He didn’t need that Church anymore. He is wanting to come out of the closet and really can’t do that until January 20th when he is sworn into the off of the President by a Imann using a Koran. Yes, our New president is a Muslim and he has now found his roots.

The Temple Mount belongs to Almighty God.
He will have the last say.
And that “say” will be according to His Word.
So what does he do to solve the problem? He gets a bigger, “badder dog”. The fights were AWFUL for about a week and then things calmed down. Every time a barking fit developed “Fao” would kill or disable the offending dog.
Where am I going with this? I contend that the only thing that will solve the radical Muslin problem is a “BADDER DOG”. They bark, they die!

Secondly I thought that Islam’s holiest city (there are thousands of them it seems) is Mecca ... it’s where they bow to pray ... have they ever bowed towards Jerusalem to pray?
Long ago, the Israelis should have nationalized all religious sites in Israel. They could be as liberal as they wanted with their use, but absolutely clear that nobody “owns” them. They are the property of the state.
As such, a whole bunch of religious disputes would end, for example arguments over who “owns” this and that square inch. Instead, religious sites would be leased by time. With strict rules, and buffer times between groups.
If the al-Asqa managers, most likely radical Wahabbis, misbehaved, then their lease could be turned over to, say, the Sufis. The mere threat of this would have the Wahabbis shaking in their boots.
Religious custodians could also be prohibited from living inside these sites. They could be required to live in a rental property, unless their sect bought them a residence in town.
Nationalization would also end disputes over alterations, archaeological digs, etc.
