You pathetic little people of the blogosphere. You're nothing more than "nitwits at home with [your] computers" who've deluded yourselves into imagining you're "part of the news media." Just ask Mike Barnicle. The former Boston Globe columnist broke the tough truth to us on today's Morning Joe. WaPo editorial writer Jonathan Capehart was "so glad" to agree.
Capehart was in full courtier mode to Mika Brzezinski, anchoring the show during Joe Scarborough's extended absence awaiting the birth of a child home in Florida. When executive producer Chris Licht read a viewer email critical of Mika, Capehart leapt to her defense, and it was then that Barnicle and he sniffed at the pretenders of the pajamahadeen.

Is Barnicle known for his love of the sauce? I don’t know but one gets that impression when he talks.
People still listen to ol’ CutAndPaste?
LOL!
Nope, only you and Olbermann's other viewer.....his mom.
Long before there were bloggers I remember the HUGE BREAKING NEWS that Gerald Ford tripped or Dan Quayle misspelled “potato”.
It all depends on whose ox is being gored, doesn't it?
There are a lot of bloggers out there who are idiots and who think that seeing their words printed on a web page must mean they're intelligent.
Of course, the journalists of the MSM suffer from the same self-delusion. But theirs is worse, for they see themselves broadcast on television and think, “Yeah, I must be pretty darn smart if so many people are watching me.”
Lol!
******
So what stream is Mike Barnicle in nowadays? Talking to no one on "morning joe"?
Does he have a link on Drudge?
I watched this disgraceful exhibition live while getting ready for work. It came about because of an e-mail that complained MSNBC never covered Obama’s gaffes. This was MSNBC’s way of addressing that glaring fact. They claimed it was no big deal, and Brnicle and Capehart proceeded to validate all that people have complained about. They derided bloggers for doing the fact checking they were too lazy to do. Then Capehart really exposed his bias. He said even if Obama had mis-spoke when he got the camp worng, he was right about the ‘message’ he was trying to get across about PTSD. This has been the constant narrative of the MSM about Obama, it does not matter if he has the facts right, because his message is right. This is a very dangerous position for the media to take, as MSNBC is just becoming an arm of the Obama campaign. They then went onto MCClellans new books and Barnicle somehow implied not only had the Bush admin lied about Iraq, they were lying about global warming and deceiving the people about every important issue. It was a disgusting display by all those on the show, and it is no wonder even the rest of the mSM is noticing these clowns are drunk on the Obama Kool Aid.
Those grapes are probably sour anyway...
NitWitters probably do believe AQ should have "equal" rights, therefore.
Question: Is being AQ a race or a religion?
But maybe Clark was showing solidarity with Obama's recent gaffe in order to make Obama's gaffe look "normal" or "casual" as Obama's handlers continue to assert it should be treated.
Mark, how does it feel to be a nitwit?

Dan Quayle misspelled potato
*****
When Dan Quayle ‘reportedly” misspelled ‘potato’. The true story is a child at the blackboard was asked to spell potato, and the card in Quayle’s hand, given to him by the New Jersey public school teacher, had the word spelled with an ‘e’ at the end. When the child did not write the ‘e’, Quayle asked him if he had forgotten anything, not wanting to offend the teacher, in front of TV cameras.
From that tiny incident, came the entire reputation of vp Quayle. Thanks old media.
Damn to those who expose the truth!
Feels reel gud ;-)
One of my favorite things to do is to take my toy dart gun and “shoot” the biggest idiot I see on TV. I had to get more of the suction darts to watch MSNBC as there were too many good “targets” to choose from! And, my trigger finger got sore.
What about Obama seeing many fallen heroes in the crowd over Memorial Day? What about him saying he campaigned in 57 states and had one more left to go?
Thank God we live in an age where they are no longer the sole source of news.
Thank God for FR!
