My goodness, folks, this Hillary Comment business is starting to become a REAL International Burn Burner right now.
This is moving hard and fast in the Japanese press here.
Here is my synopsis from the Japanese major (conservative) daily Sankei Shimbun, with it's rich and intriguing headine. (below) (and URL link to original Japanese language article). Japanese Middle-of-the-Road and Left-Oriented papers and outlets are also running with it as we speak.
lol
I am afraid, that is where it it seems to be heading.
She is staying in just in case he gets assassinated.
Now she realizes how bad that sounded and is trying to lay a smoke scree.
It'll get ugly if they can do a McVeigh and pin it on a "radical conservative."
Aren’t the Japanese a historically racist population? Why would they care about charges of racism in America?(Obama/Wright/Farrakhan)
Well, she still has Huma....for now.
I have to admit, that was the funniest DU thread I have ever read.
Because this story broke on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend, it’s guaranteed to be the Talk Radio topic come this Tuesday which means will have legs to run through next week.
Hillary’s offensive against Obama has been derailed by her own hoof-in-mouth gaff.
“The Clintons measure every word the utter. This was not a Hillary slip-up.”
If you watch the video, there are two or so seconds where she pauses immediately as the words left her mouth as if her mind was thinking, “Oh crap I can’t believe I said that”, then she continues with same demeanor as before.
This I gotta see. Headed over there right now, then I'll take a long hot shower ;-).
"Angela Johnson May 23rd, 2008 at 3:10 pm OMG!!!!!!!!!! Could someone get this woman a whole bottle of mood enhancers and a visit to a psychiatric facility quiet room or a ticket to the Bahamas for a much needed rest on a beach? 2 Keith May 23rd, 2008 at 3:15 pm Senator Clinton has sunk to the lowest of lows. I was willing to look past her flaws (believing they arose due to strict politics) to consider an Obama/Clinton ticket. However, given her continued disrespect for Senator Obama and her absolute willingness to do whatever she thinks it might take to win, I would not support an Obama/Clinton ticket. There must be someone else who would be able to help pick up Clinton supporters. Im done with the Clintons. 3 Scratch May 23rd, 2008 at 3:15 pm I cannot under any circumstances imagine this woman saying, I have decided to withdraw from this race. She has already decided that she will not, so her filter is not working as she discusses all the various ways in which she could become president. 4 The Other Ed May 23rd, 2008 at 3:21 pm So she is staying in so she can win if something happens to Obama? Cant she fulfill that exact same role without tearing apart the party by suspending her campaign but not yet releasing her delegates? Unbelievable!"
Watch close! She actually is rationalizing reasons for her to stay in the hopeless race, clawing for power, including a twisted, subliminal hope that Obama is actually harmed in some way, clearing the way for her to the White House. She has constructed increasingly more insane and unbalanced rationalizations within her cranium to keep seeking the inevitable, like the wino patrolling hopelessly for old bottles with some zinfandel left in them, long after the supermarket dumpster has been cleaned up. It is pathetic, actually. This person needs hospitalization and help.
It comes out in the way she said it in that video, and in the mental "oh, crap, did I just say that!?" two second pause with the eyes dancing, mouth frozen, EXACTLY AS YOU SAW THE VIDEO, TOO, REBELBASE.
LOL! It’s never happened to me but I have a friend who stepped into a fresh dog pile in the yard and then tracked it all through the new, light color carpet in his house.
I can only imagine that Hillary is thinking the same thing now as my friend did the instant he realized what he’d done.
I think she is in the Nixon Final Days mode. How ironic. She worked on Capital Hill to get him impeached and later to resign. Nixon would not, holding out for hope, thinking that Alabama Governor George Wallace could step in and get some conservative Democrats on his side. Wallace just said "I am sorry Mr. President."
And then, as I recall it, THE DELEGATION went from the Hill to the White House. This had Hugh Scott from Pennsylvania, Barry Goldwater, the House Minority Leader from Arizona John Rhodes, maybe a few others. They told Nixon very bluntly and to a man, "its over". In retrospect, he NEEDED to be told it was over, because he was in deep denial and was constructing every odd scenario for staying in power.
If the Democrats have some class or even courage, they will compose "THE DELEGATION" of 2008, and they will go to Hillary and they will tell her "It's Over". It is going to get worse for both her and them. She is heading towards implosion and is going to take the whole party down with her. I am not a Democrat, but that would be my advice. This is a woman that needs to be told, like Nixon before her, that it is truly over.
Of course, knowing her, she will have none of it. Truly sick, sad, pathetic and pitiful. Fun to watch, but it shows is the weakness and the worst in human beings.
