If you watch the video, there are two or so seconds where she pauses immediately as the words left her mouth as if her mind was thinking, “Oh crap I can’t believe I said that”, then she continues with same demeanor as before.

She actually is rationalizing reasons for her to stay in the hopeless race, clawing for power, including a twisted, subliminal hope that Obama is actually harmed in some way, clearing the way for her to the White House. She has constructed increasingly more insane and unbalanced rationalizations within her cranium to keep seeking the inevitable, like the wino patrolling hopelessly for old bottles with some zinfandel left in them, long after the supermarket dumpster has been cleaned up. It is pathetic, actually. This person needs hospitalization and help.
It comes out in the way she said it in that video, and in the mental "oh, crap, did I just say that!?" two second pause with the eyes dancing, mouth frozen, EXACTLY AS YOU SAW THE VIDEO, TOO, REBELBASE.
