It is already mid-weekend here in Japan—this stuff broke very early Saturday a.m. here—so I have not had the normal number of people to bounce such kinds of questions off of and take a better pulse. I think the reading so far in Japan at least in the media that is covering it, is that SHE MADE ONE HUGE mistake, and in the lesser, cynical, tell-it-like-it-is circulateion press, actually does wish ill to come to Senator Obama so that she can get the nomination. I have seen some kind of references in that context, yes.

Sepuku is probably beyond this hillary creature.
How about falling into a benjo ditch. Might that be a more applicable description? As MaryFromMichigan noted, sepuku would require some sense of honor.

Personally I am loyal too conservative values not people who say they are conservative yet perform like a liberal or moderate socialist. Be they someone we chose yesterday by accident or someone we choose tomorrow on purpose if they stray from conservative values we are not obligated to keep supporting them or staying quiet about their performance.
..... Thus the reason I vote on ones record versus ones promises. Anything less is IMHO a risky bet at best. Such as the lesser of two evils concepts we are usually presented during an election. No polidiot is perfect, no polidiot deserves blind silent devotion. Politics has a human element as we all know and is fallible to the nth degree. Constant attention to it’s every act is the effort that must be maintained to preserve our beloved republic and liberty.
Just my opinion of course.........
Stay safe !

There probably has not been a benjo ditch in now super-modern, second largest economy in the world Japan, for the last 30 years or so. In Myanmar or Haiti or Chad or The Philippines or other third world outposts, maybe, but not in Japan. That was Dad's war (and post-war Occcupation). Long gone.

which begs the question I now have for people back in the UNITED STATES this Saturday morning...
By the large, how is the African-American community (and quite necessarily, the Obama grassroots supporters)--which has so much hope yet trepidation as it is about Obama's ascendancy, taking such cockeyed statements made by the Hildebeast? They must be pretty livid.

I always said Clinton was the weaker candidate.....though for some reason conservatives, like Rush, have been arguing to the contrary.

I found this comment of interest:
I mean, when someone is trying to drum up reasons to keep their campaign going, why NOT mention assassination? I'm sure everyone would do the same, even if they are too scared to admit it.
