Short but serious question:
So, what's it gonna be folks? Turncoat RINO or America hating Marxist?
McCain/RINO, for the TROOPS... God Help us all, we’re going to need His guiding hand.
Welcome back my FRiend!
I’ll have the lasagna. (And welcome back, sir)
The typos. I don’t care who you vote for. LOL
Good to see you back, sir.
For all my disagreements with McCain, it comes down to this for me:
One candidate withstood 5 1/2 years of brutal beating by the Vietnamese Communists. The other candidate voluntarily associates with allies (like William Ayres) of the Vietnamese Communists.
For me, the choice is clear.
That said, I am not yet convinced that Obama is the nominee, and won’t be until after the Dhims have their convention. Even after that, I wouldn’t put anything past the Clintons.
McCain.
I really don’t want Obama appointing Supremes ...esp Hillary.
I’ll take the Turncoat RINO for $200, Alex.
Okay, Johnny, now say that in plain English so us typical white folk can understand it.
None of the above, Jim.
Neither deserves my vote.
It will be the first time I’ve not marked a vote in the Presidential elector column since 1972.
The turncoat RINO doesn’t want my vote. The Marxist, which will be Hillary, not Obama, doesn’t need my vote either.
The electorate is not going to come out for the old fart RINO. They want change, and will not pass on the opportunity to vote in a woman or a black man as President. The electorate has been so conditioned to hate Republicans and Bush, thanks to 7.5 years of the pandering GOP having no testicles, they want CHANGE!
Unfortunately, my tagline will become true.
But enough doom and gloom—glad you are home and posting!
Welcome back, Sir.
But as to the question, I will hold my nose, close my eyes, turn my head, wince and vote for McCain.
Just like you will.
Just like everyone else on this forum will.
Because the alternative is unacceptable.
You're kidding, right? Yours counts WAY more than mine will, I'm from Illinois.
Conservatives need to capture the House. The Presidenvy is lost to the king makers.
I am willing to listen to argument from McCain supporters, but I have to declare, for the first time since I have been able to vote, Carter vs. Ford, this election is about the lesser of two evils to me.
It seems obvious common sense to choose the turncoat RINO.
But I still have one nagging question: How is the Republican Party ever going to recover with McCain as it’s leader? Surely he will be the last GOP President, and then what?
Come on ... guess ... which is worse.
I anticipate voting for the most conservative candidate on the ballot. That may possibly be the Republican, but I very much doubt it.
For me, I'm voting for this guy. It's not like it's really going to matter.
Speak for yourself - I won't vote for McCain. I'll vote for other conservatives & probably leave the top blank.
Welcome back Jim - we've missed you alot!
I’d ask the GoP to answer that one first.
They have ample opportunity to exert more control over this mess than anyone else at this point.
