Ron Paul Hopes to Crash McCain's Party
ABC News ^ | 5/13/08 | Marcus Barum

Sen. John McCain, taking a victory lap as the presumptive Republican nominee, happily poked fun at his only remaining opponent.

Asked during an appearance on "The Daily Show" last week which of the two Democratic nominees he preferred to run against in the general election, McCain quipped, "Ron Paul."

But Paul might get the last laugh during McCain's coronation at the party's convention in early September.

McCain's nomination may be certain, but he finds himself pressured by different wings of the conservative movement -- from the libertarians and the anti-war activists, to social conservatives and evangelical voters.

Oh, and per previous, both Don Black and his son have criminal records so someone high up must have pulled some strings to get them this close access to presidential candidates.

Reagan would never have supported a protectionist and anti-immigrant extremist like hunter or keyes.

Protectionist- Hmmm... Tell that to Harley Davidson, who wouldn't be here if not for Reagan's tariffs on Jap motorcycles.

Anti-immigrant- Yeah, I am sure he would like the way his personal word to the American people (that there would only be one amnesty, and the borders shut off) has been kept.

"It could be construed as so. Do you think so?"

I wouldn't have said it if I didn't think so. Good night to you.

No consequence? Ask Robert Bork about that...

Ron Paul is an evil anti-American nutjob who wants to destroy our military and surrender our country and the world to al qaeda.

With all do respect, you're either insane or ignorant of what your country is supposed to be about.

This is not DEFENSE. This is our quarterback scoring points for the other team. And yo are asking us to help him?

So you really see McCain, Obama, and Hillary all on the same side on all the issues? Seriously?

"Default obama supporter."

Where in the hell did come up with that? I'd rather shoot myself. It would be faster.

Reagan was a Free Traitor, and mentioned the importance in many of his speeches going back to the GE days. Supported the initial accord with Canada, and met with Miguel de la Madrid to discuss a similar agreement with Mexico, later hammered out by Bush the First.

Reagan was a free trader, and left the protectionist idiocy to the Democrats. Amazing how, in death, Reagan has become all things to all people, including the retarded proletarian fatsos who belong in the Democratic Party.

But isn't the idea of free market anarchy wonderful? To let it evolve organically?

It's not Constitutional. And I thought your whole point was that Paul was "a staunch Constitutionalist" and that McCain was a socialist, against the original Constitution when it comes to the economy...

Apparently now it's that you wish Paul was an anarchist, and that the Constitution didn't contain the language that it actually does?

Did you just toke a bad bowl?

His son looks all of fifteen years old. They must start them young on a life of crime in white supremacists’ circles.

'All' is rather broad term, but in general, yes. They are all socialists seeking to subvert the sovereignty of the American People. I will *not* vote for that.

With all do respect, you're either insane or ignorant of what your country is supposed to be about.

Yet you had zero clue that the first article of the Constitution gives Congress the right to regulate trade and the economy via the levying of taxes and duties...

Pot, thou are sleeping with the black kettle!

Easy on the snipes, I genuinely want nothing but freedom and liberty and fairness for all - and I don't belive in being a slave (that's it, nothing more)

So tell me how does being a believer in the great U.S. Constitution differ from that of being a pure free-market proponent?

Really? So McCain’s opposition to universal health care, support for a balanced budget, support for free market solutions, support for reduced taxation, support for 2nd Amendment rights, and support for a strong national defense are all socialist, oppressive positions?

You really see him as equivalent to Obama and Hillary... That is just unimaginable. It’s like equating Ronald Reagan with Carter, simply because they both supported free trade with Canada.
