I’m not perfect, and You know that full well. Even so, I bring my broken and humble request to You on behalf of someone I’ve never met, Jim Robinson.

Please help him as he recovers from his surgery today. Please help those assigned to care for him to be attentive, thoughtful, and compassionate in their duties. Please grant his family a measure of peace and freedom from worry, please help us to have faith that You will take care of this as You take care of all things.

You are perfect, merciful, and gracious, Father. I thank You for the answer to this prayer.

May the Lord give all the healing necessary, and then some. May the Holy Spirit counsel, inspire, and advise Jim and his whole family. May God the Father look upon his son, Jim, with great kindness and love, and grant everything he wants or needs at this time.

They are amputating his left leg today. We are still waiting to hear that he is in recovery. If they started the surgery at 9 like they were suppose to, we should be hearing any minute now.

I’ve added several names to the Jim Ping List, but I’m still working on it.

Now for an UPDATE .....

Jim’s brother just called. Jim asked him to let me know that the surgery has been postponed until 2:00. This day just got longer.

Jim was on the speaker phone so I told him that the entire world is praying for him.

Jim was worried about me ... can you believe that? He was afraid that I might have gone to the hospital and be waiting for him to come out of surgery. Man ... I should have gone up there.

I told Sheila and also Jim that I have to be at school for Marissa at 2:00. I gave Sheila my cell phone number.

Lori ..... if I get a call while away from my computer, I will give you a call so you can post an update.

Jim’s brother said Jim was having some pain so they just gave him another shot.
