Check out Eguchi Takahito’s work from the Trinity Blood soundtrack... or the Full Metal Alchemist soundtracks (all three of them).

Or Danny Elfman’s “Music For A Darkened Theatre” series.

Exactly. Some of my favorite 20th/21st century composers are: Richard Rogers, Ennio Morricone, John Williams, and Bill Conti.

When Hollyweird needs a stirring score for one of their propaganda pieces, the talent still exists to execute it.

My favorite is Basil Poledouris' score for Conan the Barbarian.
