Hung herself in a shed?? How big was this shed

Exactly, what did she stand on, etc. How did she tie the support with granny knots?

That’s an interesting take. I’ve been posting here since 98 (or maybe a little earlier; I think I was ElwoodP when I started). And I have to say that I really haven’t noticed the decline some others have. I still consider FR my very first source for news and analysis.

AH...the “me too” was being a smart ass...

As far as the decline?

Well..everyone feels that newcomers sometimes spoil the soup...

In my view?

It takes all kinds of vegetables to make vegetable soup...

Many of the newbies are plants for sure...but which ones?

Only time will tell...

Wrapped in a carpet, if memory serves me correctly. :) Of course, I could be totally wrong.

Do they really think people are stupid enough to believe this?

I tell you all right quick... I used to be on here all the time back when the “commander in briefs” episode was happening. That was back in the 90’s when I had a 500mb ‘puter and living in DC. If anyone wants to know my handle back then, you can mail me thru this. I searched thru the archives and didn’t find my name. I had situations where I could not come back for a while, I wasn’t banned, but I dropped off for a bit. Lost my login, etc... this is beside the point.
Look, with this situation, with Deborah Jeane Palfrey, I feel she was railroaded. It wasn’t democrat or republican, but I believe something happened that wasn’t savvy. Trust me on this. I don’t care who slept with who and somebody paid for it, I could care less. That’s between the family. I do have a problem with someone blocking investigations and lying under oath. Regarding someone we all know... I think we all agree that Ms. Palfrey should have kept quiet, I think she took the wrong decision in “outing” people. My belief is that she took up with the wrong people in the first place. I think things will eventually come out, which some things have. I really don’t care about other peoples sex lives, but if it gets in the way of doing your job, this is a different story.
Think this way... we ARE forgiving people and always have been. Mostly conservative people. Thru our lives we have done wrong, and we always try to make up for it. Us conservatives, we actually say “sorry” when we mean it.
In this case, Debbie Palfrey didn’t get that chance to say “sorry”. She hooked up with people who wanted to use her. It’s a very sad thing. I would appreciate your comments on this,
Mike Chance

I can honestly say I’ve never seen a female commit suicide by hanging. Like most of the posters around here, most women will not do anything to disfigure themselves which is why pills and alcohol are the preferred methods.

Disfigurement, or rather the avoidance thereof seems to be a major concern.

The only one I know who shot herself did so in the chest, not the head.

You are right, hanging does not fit.

I wonder what else the neighbors saw?

...if they were going to hire someone it would be a professional, and they would just disappear. &&& But if the murderer could make it look like suicide....

If they are in an 'old folks' community, it would be tough to get in, set the stage, and get out, but it would be even more likely to be noticed trying to take the corpse with them. Suicide would be more plausible to the rank and file, and just a blip in the news. Other more questionable activity and/or a disappearance would be more likely to get extended newsplay.

In the event of foul play, the perpetrators and their employers would want this out of the news, dead, and buried, as fast as possible.

Which brings us back to the seminal question.

Where is the 'black book', or the data that was therein? cui bono?

Clothesline rope’s usually not nylon, is it?

Nope, nylon stretches. Most common rope for mooring boats is polypropylene, it is cheap and does not stretch, and is usually braided and easy to splice because the center is hollow.

Medical examiner’s done. Suicide. She left one note: Do Not Revive. She came to the home of advanced directives and euthanasia to commit suicide but I still have my doubts.

I get your drift, Guen... if there’s a note or 2, it must be suicide. No mention of FBI at all on local radio or TV either. Nothing to see here.
