Protein analysis confirms modern birds descended from huge predatory dinosaur, study finds. In the first analysis of proteins extracted from dinosaur bones, scientists say they have established more firmly than ever that the closest living relatives of the mighty predator Tyrannosaurus rex are modern birds. The research, being published today in...

I thought Marc Bolen and T.Rex were a pretty good band and not chicken at all.

That is a hilarious image. A T-Rex strutting and ba-gawking. LOL!
I used the rural colloquialism “Mad as a wet hen.” and my ex said “is a wet hen mad? How can you tell?”.
It is all in the sound of the ba-gawk! And yes, quite mad!

Correct. The Theory (read Myth) of Evolution (the indoctrination of which is a rite of passage in public schools) has more holes in it than Swiss cheese whereas Intelligent Design is almost unassailable.

So that’s what the song was about...
Well, you’re dirty and sweet
Clad in black, don’t look back,
You’re dirty and sweet, oh yeah
Well, you’re slim and you’re weak
You got the teeth of the hydra upon you
You’re dirty, sweet and you’re my girl
get it on, bang a gong, etc......

grew up on a chicken ranch. if an egg is broken while being picked up and gets on a chicken the other hens will peck the chicken with egg on his face to death. Watch them or guineas kill a snake.

There’s an, um, adult recreational facility in Mercury NV by that name too.
No, I mean the feathers-and-chicken-poop-all-over kind with a brazillion birds running around.
Although the one you mentioned sounds more appealing. Closest I’ve got is Texas Loosey’s where the girls wear chaps and leather vests and frilly panties.

I have spent time at chicken ranches. Its true.
You can see it in their eyes when they look at you.
I don't think they meant "chicken ranch" Las Vegas-style.

Is anyone even asking the question as to how soft tissues and protiens managed to survive for 68 million years?
Excepert from a
Fox News story on the same subject:
It seems some 68 million years ago, a teenage T. rex died and left behind a drumstick-shaped femur bone that today still contains intact soft tissue and the oldest preserved proteins discovered to date.
Though no genetic material was preserved, researchers were able to extract the proteins from the collagen tissues.
