MIKE REAGAN just threw McCain under the bus and drove over him.
Michael Reagan Show ^ | 04/24/08 | self

Posted on 04/24/2008 3:26:14 PM PDT by RadioCirca1970

Mike Reagan just said he wouldn't campaign for John McCain. Michael is disgusted that he would go to New Orleans and condemn the Federal Government for inaction. He also called the people in NOLA who wouldn't step up and accept responsibility losers. He was referring to Nagin and Co.

He said McCain is an idiot.

>>McCain is a poison pill.<<

Perhaps in more ways than one. Do you have tables of congressional seats that the party of the POTUS gained and lost in previous midterm elections? Looking at the economy, for one thing, looks like it’s likely that it will be worse in 2010.

Yeah right. Conservatives will end up supporting John McCain come November because they have nowhere else to go and they do not want to hand the presidency to a Dim.

Amnesty is going to happen no matter who is elected so move onto another issue.

The fence would have already been finished if immigration reform had been passed last summer, but too many wanted to hold it hostage to their demands of mass deportation. Don’t blame McCain, blame the person looking back in the mirror.

Right Wing begins about couple of feet to my right......LOL!

Judging by your posting history, my friend, you are one confused individual.

You are no more right-wing than Arnold could be called right-wing.

You take whatever side that McCain is on, sans principles.

Given your propensity to do this, I would say you are probably paid to do this.

That’s because immigration is a non-issue to most Republican voters. Haven’t you noticed how little it is discussed anymore.

He has no special insight just because his dad was a decent President.

True, however, if you had ever listened to his show for any length of time, you'd know he is more conservative and more of a straight arrow on conservative issues than 95% of those proclaiming to be conservatives in Congress and the current sitting President and our current joke of a candidate John McAmnesty.

GOP is indefensible right now. Whether you like it or not, spending and record spending is one of the reason. Guess who is #1 enemy of Pork on Capitol Hill? Guess who wants to eradicate influence of corrupt lobbyists? Who wants to cut down wastage? All things that GOP lost credibility on, but we are lucky to have a nominee, who hasn’t.

Guess who wants to grant 20-30+ million Illegal Aliens Amnesty thereby guaranting Republican minority status for decades?

Guess who wants to implement a carbon cap and trade system thereby destroying the American Economy?

Guess who call President Bush's tax cuts "Tax cuts for the rich" and then voted against them?

Guess who wants to close Gitmo and give terrorists access to our legal system?

Guess who is in favor of a Kyoto II?

The GOP runs another McCain in 4 years and I’ll vote either 3rd party or not at all. Now is not the time to make that stand.

You make no sense at all.

You will be facing the same situation in 4 or 8 years with an equally bad set of choice on the Democrat side and on the Republican side if the GOP elite have their way, you know it and I know it.

The same set of external dangers will exist and the same set of internal problems will exist in one fashion or another.

You have the choice Right Now to vote your principles, the GOP does not respect you, they just want your vote.

As for me, I will vote for conservatives, period.

If there are no nominated conservatives, I will write one in.

Amnesty is going to happen no matter who is elected so move onto another issue.

It would be less likely with a Democrat President than with Mr. McAmnesty.

Republican Congressmen seem to find their spine when they have a Democrat President (See Bill Clinton).

With McCain, they would just go along to get along (See GWB and spending).

Couple the spine-building exercise the GOP will be encountering with a Democrat President with the 75%-80% total hatred by the populace at large for Amnesty, and your statement is rather foolish.

Riiiiight, just like the 1986 amnesty solved all our problems.

It seems McCain haters here along with their new bedfellow Mike Reagan are willing to throw American troops under the bus for their nativist agenda.

Good for Mike.
McCain IS a pandering friggin idiot. The “global warming” dupes, the Katrina welfare-staters, the Gitmo ACLU lawyers - - has McCain found ANYBODY he won’t pander to? Oh yeah - - conservatives.

Yes, well, I think folks have been having to hold their nose so long that they finally had to come up for air. I had hoped they would get religion before November and perhaps they will.

I know not everyone will, but perhaps enough will.

If Bush could barely make it, I don’t see how McCain does, unless he flat out becomes a Democrat openly and courts them. He’s got to make up for us somehow.

If Michael Reagan wasn't Ronald Reagan's son, he'd have no credibility whatsoever.

How do you know that?He has no special insight just because his dad was a decent President.

First, his Dad was a great President, and second, did you ever consider that maybe Michael Reagan is his own man with his own ideas and opinions? He has been a successful radio host for many years now, and that's not because some radio station is charitable. If he wasn't any good (ratings), he'd be gone. You are awfully presumptious.
