The GOP runs another McCain in 4 years and I’ll vote either 3rd party or not at all. Now is not the time to make that stand.

You will be facing the same situation in 4 or 8 years with an equally bad set of choice on the Democrat side and on the Republican side if the GOP elite have their way, you know it and I know it.

The same set of external dangers will exist and the same set of internal problems will exist in one fashion or another.

I’m reluctantly voting for McCain this year, as I’m not willing to play politics (or, as you think of it, principles) with war.

We have a war we need to finish in Iraq. If it isn’t done at the end of a McCain presidency, it won’t ever be done.
