Rev. Jeremiah Wright told a congregation in Norfolk, Va., on Sunday that reporters sneaked into a private funeral service a day before, in which he blasted America’s founding fathers for slavery and white supremacy and received standing ovations for attacking FOX News for covering his anti-American sermons.

Barack Obama’s retiring pastor delivered a sermon at Bank Street Memorial Baptist Church, where his late uncle had been the pastor, about overcoming trouble. The public appearance was his first since news broke that the Democratic presidential candidate’s pastor frequently rails on the United States.

"Wright, who is on sabbatical before retiring from Trinity United,
said America’s mistreatment of blacks is the result of the founding fathers,
who “planted slavery and white supremacy in the DNA of this republic.”
First reported by The Chicago Sun Times, Wright told mourners
at the funeral that Thomas Jefferson, who partook in “pedophilia,”
would also be considered unpatriotic these days because he wrote,
“God would punish America for the sin of slavery.”
He also quoted Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice,
who said that the U.S. has a “congenital birth defect.”

What I find truly dishartning is people listen to this hate-filled pator and agree with him on the outlandish crapolla he spews.

The conservative movement in this country just does not do enough to espouse and render the truth on the greatness of America. If conservatives just rallied half as much as the looney-assed, half-baked crowd this country would soar to new heights.

We have a right in this republic, it's called Free Speech. Conservatives need to start using it more often.

“FOX News can’t understand that,” Wright said to rousing cheers and applause. “[Bill] O’Reilly will never get that. Sean Hannity’s stupid fantasy will keep him forever stuck on stupid when it comes to comprehending how you can love a brother who does not believe what you believe. [Pincham’s] faith was a faith in a God who loved the whole world not just one country or one creed.”

First of all, why is it ok when leftists ignore "separation of church and state" and preach politics in their churchs? If a conservative church were to do such a thing, the rants from the left would be unbelievable. They'd be trying to revoke tax exempt status.

Secondly, he misinterprets conservatism. We believe in the Constitution that all men are created equal. No man is born better than another in the eyes of God. We don't believe in special privelages based on things like race because to us, the only race that counts is the human race.

This is a bitter man who can't let go of history and wants to continue to and rant about percieved racial injustice. The way for him to help save the black community is to preach the teachings of Christ, which would ultimately lead to the rebuilding of the family.

Our local news station, WRVA, reported this AM that Wright had steered clear of politics during his eulogy! Lying b#stards. . .

I can't take this “preacher” seriously. His swaying when he speaks and prancing about during sermons show his affectations are just an act. His “preaching” is a show. It's so comically mocking of what is the prototype revivalist minister that the “rev” Wright might better be known as Gene Gene the Preachin’ Machine in honor of the once Gong Show regular.

Who’s stuck on stupid, again?

This race pimp just gave O’Reilly and Hannity a free pass to run his US of KKK-A clips again, over and over and over again.

LOL!!

Actually, I’m sorry this guy’s retiring.

It would be nice to keep him around, spouting his racist anti-American garbage, to further shine the light on cockroaches like himself who preach this crap to morons like Barak.

That’s likely why he “retired”. So that they can distance themselves from him.

Just like you do Jeremiah?

Are we sure that this wasn't just a cover for a democrat fundraiser?

Gretchen Carlson is interviewing Andrew Breitbart right now about how Oprah's popularity has declined after endorsing Obama. He reminds her how Rev. Wright was also Oprah's pastor and Gretchen surprisingly says—he was? Gee, do your homework, Friends.

Is it possible that PC speech is often times conservative speech, therefore conservatives have allowed their right to free speech to be removed.
