Smacking Down the YouTube Terrorists (A little help needed)

So you think you're too old, too fat, too something to do anything against the terrorists?  I've got news for you...  if you'll give me 10 minutes out of your day, every day, I can show you how you can really make a difference....

Here's the deal... Terrorists post snuff videos, sniper videos, calls for jihad and all manner of nasty stuff on the internet in order to lure more young skulls full of mush into working for or with them.  A lot of these videos are hosted at YouTube, of all places.  YouTube's policy is that they will only remove offensive videos if those videos are flagged by the YouTube community as offensive.  That's where you and I come in...  We need 100 people who will give us 10 minutes a day to simply sign in to YouTube and flag videos.  You don't even have to watch them - in fact, in most cases, I'd recommend that you NOT watch them.   If we flood YouTube with flagged videos, they WILL remove them.  So will you help?  (Please?) 

Here are the steps:

#1) If you don't have a YouTube account, go sign up for one.  You don't have to use it for anything but this.

#2)  Click one of the links below, let the video start and then click the pause button on the player so you don't have to actually watch the propaganda.

#3)  Below the video, click "Flag as inappropriate."

#4)  Choose "promotes hatred or violence"

#5)  Where it says "please indicate the group attacked" choose National Origin.

#6)  Where it says "provide additional information....." type or copy/paste in the below statement.

Providing services to terrorists violates executive orders 12947 and 13224.

So -- you got game?  If you do, here's your first list -- a couple of the videos have already been Smacked Down!  WOOHOOO!!  Let's get the rest!

D.C. Chapter Master Ping List

Looks like YouTube doesn't like our actions and are requiring extra steps as in copying a code to submit your complaint. So lets keep 'em up, hitting them hard.

If I read StarCMC's comment correctly, apparently some providers of the vile videos have actually been suspended.

'splain that. I commented yesterday that the only thing I saw different was an additional caveat is displayed after the flagging.

I think “national origin” constitutes a protected group.

Here is YouTube's explanation of what is a protected group:

Promotes hatred or violence against a protected group Hate speech is content that promotes or encourages hatred or violence toward a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.

Does this mean we need to flag it based on religion (they hate us b/c we're not Muslim) or would "ethnic origin" be enough. They have other specifics on the drop down list, but National Origin looks like it is NOT a protected group.

Interesting that I was not able to flag any of these as “promoting hatred or violence” but “other dangerous acts” worked fine.

I’m going to stick with starCMC’s original recommendations until it’s clear we’ve run into a wall. If it starts looking like we’re not having any success then we can try one of the other options.

Well, in my mind, we should each flag as we think fit — I believe that the more variety they have, both in the flagging AND in the comments, the more they might realize that people really do find this stuff offensive. So to me, either is correct. (Did that make sense?)

I am starting to add this to the comment section, because I notice people are commenting on the horrificness of the video. Plus, it's insulting to muslim sensibilities. Maybe others could add similar insults to the comment section.
