Here's the deal... Terrorists post snuff videos, sniper videos, calls for jihad and all manner of nasty stuff on the internet in order to lure more young skulls full of mush into working for or with them. A lot of these videos are hosted at YouTube, of all places. YouTube's policy is that they will only remove offensive videos if those videos are flagged by the YouTube community as offensive. That's where you and I come in... We need 100 people who will give us 10 minutes a day to simply sign in to YouTube and flag videos. You don't even have to watch them - in fact, in most cases, I'd recommend that you NOT watch them. If we flood YouTube with flagged videos, they WILL remove them. So will you help? (Please?)
Here are the steps:
#1) If you don't have a YouTube account, go sign up for one. You don't have to use it for anything but this.
#2) Click one of the links below, let the video start and then click the pause button on the player so you don't have to actually watch the propaganda.
#3) Below the video, click "Flag as inappropriate."
#4) Choose "promotes hatred or violence"
#5) Where it says "please indicate the group attacked" choose National Origin.
#6) Where it says "provide additional information....." type or copy/paste in the below statement.
Providing services to terrorists violates executive orders 12947 and 13224.
I always point out how the video has been clipped to only show the attack not the results(like those pesky and very alive Americans ready to kick ass)
It’s true. :)
Google owns YouTube.
YouTube has ads on their pages.
Every time you open a YouTube page that contains an ad, YouTube/Google gets paid.
3 targets hit.
Useful to counter their propaganda, you’ll need to be ready to back your assertions up with information. I personally don’t have the sources to get the facts which would refute their self-puffery.
Besides, they could claim that they didn’t show the results out of ‘good taste,’ or to avoid getting banned for “Inappropriate Content: violent and/or repulsive material.”
I don’t think they are going to supply me with the additional footage they clipped, However every time I can I will point out that these videos show just how many of our guys survive.
You guys deserve a big WOOOOHOOOO!!! Look the results of last night's flagging....

“Every time you open a YouTube page that contains an ad, YouTube/Google gets paid. “
We are going to disagree on this issue- I think Google only gets paid for click-throughs, not views.
If it were per unique view it would get pretty expensive to advertise and get nothing for it. A click-through brings the possibility of business to the advertiser, a click through takes you to the advertiser’s site.
Here is some info from Google, on one of their AdSense pages. Money flows by the click, or “impression”:
How do I get paid?
You get paid whenever someone on your site clicks on one of the AdSense ads. Advertisers can also bid to appear on your site on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis. Both CPC and CPM bids compete in our AdWords program to ensure that you optimize your ad revenue.
Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
We have an EFT payment system available in a number of countries, which will help get your AdSense earnings delivered directly to your bank account every month without any additional effort.

Concerned about costs? Don’t worryAdWords puts you in complete control of your spending.
Set your budget
There’s no minimum spending requirement—the amount you pay for AdWords is up to you. You can, for instance, set a daily budget of five dollars and a maximum cost of ten cents for each click on your ad.
Avoid guesswork
We provide keyword traffic and cost estimates so you can make informed decisions about choosing keywords and maximizing your budget. (Estimate keyword costs)

You’re charged only if someone clicks your ad, not when your ad is displayed.

Excellent work StarCMC. I wish more FReepers would take positive action rather than sitting back in their easy chairs bitching from the cheap seats.
I’m on it!!!!
I did the duty on the first list, although I did not report in. I will now get to work on the new list. Thank you both!
