Is amoebic dysentery where you basically crap yourself to a miserable death by dehydration?

We were about three days travel from the nearest hospital that could help. So the village healer made a mix of lime juice, salt, boiled water and sugar to keep me hydrated and a mix of green banana and carrots to keep my electrolytes in balance and off we went to the city.
:Shudder:
The cure was almost as bad as the disease

All of those third-world diseases are nasty.
Worst I had was a touch of pneumonia when I was several months old.

I worked with someone who’d had a coworker come down with dysentery while on a project...in India, I think. They couldn’t get the guy the medical help he needed, so they duct-taped heavy plastic around his legs and torso, put him on an airplane, and told the flight attendants to keep him supplied with pleny of water.

BLEAH!
Glad you made it through.
Now I’ve got to go make it through Friday evening traffic.
Cheers!

Your quiz is a piece of Commie crap.
Look what a difference it makes just on how much money you spent, and what you spent it on.
Let the Commies exist on used raisins and spare change. I want my own fusion reactor and a greenhouse so I can grow strawberries in the Winter.

Your quiz is a piece of Commie crap.Yes, it is, which makes it totally irrelevant, and a prime target for our amusement. Abusing the thing in attempts to score poorly is fun. I mean, just how FAT can that piggie get??
It's telling that the one thing you can do to most influence your final score is move the "B" percentage slider around. That will offset alost all of your 'bad' answers from earlier.

I had pneumonia twice within a year, at 13-14, the second time sent me to the hospital. Not fun at all.

I didn’t like the first movie because they butchered the plot and dialogue, but in this case, I didn’t think it mattered. They substituted one coming-of-age plus adventure plot for a different one.
I loved what they did with the Telmarine nobles. They were like the Cosa Nostra in a gangster movie, or Venetian lords in Shakespeare. Perfect costumes and dialogue for those characters. I especially liked Lord Sopespian, the Spaniard. Prince Caspian looked like our senior Boy Scout, only with curly hair; cute as a button.
I really admired Peter and Edmund, too. Got to run, it’s going to be time to load the van! More later ...

Should have died when I was 3.4 years old.
