Hate crime!
We are very near the end of civilization.
Puts me in mind of Howard Cosell.
the problem with most people’s skin any more isn’t the color- it’s the lack of thickness.

the incident occurred Saturday, when two children were playing in a tree next door to Ramirez-Sliwinski’s house.
She said the parents were outside supervising the children, but she went over and told them to get out of the tree because she was concerned about the boys’ safety and because the small magnolia tree was being damaged.
The father of one of the boys told her it was none of her business, she told the Chicago Tribune, and “I calmly said the tree is not there for them to be climbing in there like monkeys.”
The mother of one boy called police.
Cmdr. Michael Kilbourne said Tuesday a ticket was issued because the ordinance bans conduct that disturbs or alarms people. One of the boys told police he was scared by her comment and a mother said she was disturbed, he said.
I was looking for a picture of her but found another interesting quote instead.
“stating that the Minutemen volunteers, American citizens, “didn’t belong in Hispanic communities.””
So, saying kids climbing in a tree like monkees is now a finable offense?.. No wonder they no longer have monkey bars at schools.
Did she say `meenkey’?
I’d honestly like to get that ticket, because it would be my ticket to dish out a verbal whacking in a court of law. “Monkeys!” Indeed! Grrrr!
Did you hear the one about the bus driver who was rude to a woman as she got on the bus? He tried to get her to pay fair for her infant who she held in her arms.
She sat down and complained to the man sitting next to her, saying that the bus driver told her that her child looked like a baby gorilla.
The man said that she should go up and give that bus driver a piece of her mind. He said “Go on up there.... here, I’ll hold the little monkey for ya!”
What a macaca.
While I read the whole new piece, I still don’t get it. What was the crime here? The word, monkeys? Is it now against the law to use that word? If so, just about every parent has been guilty of calling his/her kids monkeys at some point in their childhood. What are we supposed to conclude from all of this? That monkeys have become a verbally protected species?
Oh good FRICKIN grief. I describe my own pasty white daughter as a monkey all the time.
Political correctness is extreme poison on our country.
Well....I’ll be a monkey’s uncle!
PC run amok. I love it when the liberals eat their own. Live by PC die by PC.......
So Italians called garlic noses is ok.
HYPOCRITE SKUNKS wanting to remove more of your free speech.
double standard, good for minorities, no good for racist, biggoted whites.
How pathetic! How traumatized and neurotic can people be? The lady only said a sweet thing. If I were a monkey I would be flattered if they called playing children after me. Get a grip on reality, policor fools!
I think she was describing "CHILDREN"! How many times have we described children as "monkeys"? Heck, even one piece of our playground equipment is called "monkey bars". Geeeez! These people need to lighten up!
