We're gonna have to quit getting loaded and telling people the story of how we pistol-whipped and b!tch slapped Ho Chi Min back in ‘67. I was always a little afraid that somebody might figure out we were only 14 years old back then. But boy did we get the free drinks!

Well, maybe we could tell the story just ONE more time. This time you get to be the one who slapped Uncle Ho around and I'll be the guy who shot the pistols out of his guards’ hands.

Just as long as we get the story straight before we start getting all the free beers.

“Absolutely! That clause has saved me from jail...say, did you hear about how I shot down Richtofen over Pork Chop Hill?”

LOL!

OOPs big boo boo I said P-51 and in reality they were F-4U's. One of those days. Here is a relatively short version of the real story but there are longer ones up on the net. Google "real toko ri".

BTW the Bridge on the River Kwai was not on the Kwai.

My brother fought the battle of Bier in Germany in the 70's. My grandfather fought in the trenches in France in WW1 - He spent months in the hospital from a mustard gas attack. I, on the other hand, was never in the Service. I salute and thank all who did serve.

Sorry I never met your grandfather. I understand that after being gassed your days were shortened considerably.

You're a good man Liberty Valance. If your grandfather hadn't gone to France we might live in a very different world. If he hadn't made it back we wouldn't have you.

Are you sure we never pistol-whipped HoChiMin? After all, it is one of my favorite stories. LOL!

If he says Essex CV9, VC-35, Freeper Skyraider was on during that time.

My ultimate America is private citizens policing themselves like you all are doing. Hopefully like you say, he was a prodigy and achieved much at a young age. If that’s the case, freepmail me, I buy him a case of beer also.

Tell him, "Jets are for kids." and see if that gets a rise out of him.
