Most likely, every one here voted for someone ELSE in the primary, but now it is time to focus on the reality that there will be someone new sitting in the White House next January 22nd. Of the three possible candidates, I know which two will do nothing to further any single cause I believe in. The guy who’s with my 60-70% of the time is a much better option.

“All McCain voters are selling the rest of us TRUE CONSERVATIVES out!”

Yeah man, let’s show’em. Let’s elect uber socialist Obama so we can have partial birth abortions with the stroke of a pen. We can withdrawl in 9 days from Iraq and cut all of our future weapons systems too.

Don’t trifle with them. IMHO they do not respect this country, its constitution or conservatism. They only care about winning at any cost.

Anyone who doesn’t vote for McCain, in reality is voting for Hillary/Obamanation. So there.

Anyone who votes for McCain is in effect voting for socialism.

Nutz to you! Maybe you’d rather have that totalitarian nutcase Obama, or that lesbian liar slut Hillary.

A point to be made that I seldom see mentioned is that McCain, for all his many and serious faults, won the nomination in a fair and open race without any super delegate nonsense. I don't like him but he won it fair and square.

One can decide not to vote because one doesn't like the available choices. I must tell you that in nearly four decades of voting I have eagerly pulled the lever for someone I like exactly twice.

My advice is to suck it up, be a grown up and keep the socialists out of the White House.

Or be a deluded spoiled brat sap

I’ll vote McCain and pray he does a good job.

The GOP has been increasingly waving a white flag to the socialist Democrats for many years in their eagerness to expand the GOP voter base.

I refuse to put party over principles. I'll go vote Constitution Party. Sure I curse a lot and the AdminMod has a bug in his bonnet about some of my posts. Dion't be a RINO lover, call the rest of us sellouts when you have to hold you own nose to vote for a treasonous socialist with an R next to this name.

A POX on both their houses.

It’s a fixed election IMO. We have 3 choices but really no choice.

Its not fixed, we had several Conservative options like Hunter and Thompson, but the voters rejected them. The failure is all on our hands, as Conservatives for failing to teach Conservative values and instead just teaching people to just listen for the person who has the government solution that sounds the best..

All we need is to stop Amnesty; I'm from the government, I'm here to help.
All we need is the Gold Standard; I'm from the government, I'm here to help.
All we need is the Fair Tax; I'm from the government, I'm here to help.
All we need is another Reagan; I'm from the government, I'm here to help.

I am so sick of people claiming that it is helping hillary or Obama get elected by ~not~ voting for McKerry. They assume 1) That McCain is the best conservative can do (which it isn’t)!, 2) that McCain is the only alternative (which he isn’t-Constitution Party, and Libertarians both attempt to follow the Constitution), and 3) That Hillary Obama would be worse than McCain which they wouldn’t-We only got Reagan after Carter, we only got controll of Congress after Clinton/HillaryHealthcare, we only got Bush Jr. after 8 years of Clinton!

For the party, for the nation I WILL NOT vote for McCain!

Like you are going to get anything different with Obama or Hillary. Let’s all hold our breath till we get our way and vote for the perfect conservative candidate (There is no such thing). Even amongst conservatives there is and never will be consensus regarding what constitutes a real conservative. We are a coalition of people that share many common values but there are different flavors of conservatism. We already know where many of Obama’s sympathies lay. If the fact that Obama is a product of the hard left (read True Believer Marxist) does not bother you and you don’t mind if the citizenry elects such a dangerous radical to the White House then give McCain the thumbs down. Change we can believe in and utopia on earth. The problem with letting the Dems win is that there maybe no country (as we know it) to save when they are finished with it. Remember we are dealing with people that vote their hearts and not their minds. I hate to say it but most Americans are ignorant, uninformed, and easily manipulated by the MSM. Obama has many faces but never exposes his real face and intentions. Hillary is of course a pathological liar as we all know.

Great advice!

But I will not be a PRAGMATIST ever again!

Me and Arnold are sworn enemies!

I vote from knowledge, not from “FEELINGS”, or just winning!

Your whistling in the wind if you believe there is a chance in heXX that this election will give us more republicans. Republicans will be extremely fortunate to hold on to what they have. I might add that the only way to really avoid catastrophic legislation and horrible supreme court appointments is for a democrat to be elected. It is only when a democrat is president that republican politicians begin to show their latent conservative tendencies. With a McCain in office much like with GWB, they will not oppose the same idiotic liberal policies that they will if a democrat is in office. Only a democrat president can stir them to filibuster bad supreme court appointments that I believe McCain would make and amnesty legislation that I am sure he will propose. Give me either a good republican president or a bad democrat president. Then there will be hope for the future. Otherwise there is no hope.

You make good points but I believe it is “fixed” . The people heard from and voted for who the media and parties allowed .
