You just know that if there had been a single sniper that day (an absurd concept given the circumstances) and ESPECIALLY given the high-level nature of the visit, the American military would have immediately dropped a few thousand more bombs on the Serbs to “teach them a lesson” and it would have been front-page news for weeks.
