Ten years ago today, Viagra got the Food and Drug Administration's stamp of approval. Here are some facts about the little blue pill:
Roughly 1 billion Viagra tablets have been doled out since the drug debuted.
An average of about three Viagra tablets were dispensed each second between its launch and the end of last year.
Thirty-five million men worldwide have used Viagra, which remains the most commonly prescribed drug for erectile dysfunction.
The drug has been evaluated in more than 120 clinical trials involving more than 16,000 men.
Viagra was also tested in about 3,000 women as a potential treatment for sexual arousal disorders. But the trials were "inconclusive," and Pfizer announced in 2004 that it had stopped them.

From all the screaming?
I used to roll over and fall out of bed before I started using Viagra.
Puppies born with pulmonary hypertension respond to Viagra administration...and are breathing well by the second day..I have used it on English Bulldogs a couple of times successfully...I have to guess at the dose...
Add a tablet to your Heart Attack First Aid Kit in your wallet. It expands blood vessels. That’s not a joke. Also, you might get lucky.
Thats what we called the guy who did this and told us about it. Sad thing is that he told us it took him four or five times to realize the combination that was making him turn blue.
Many years ago I had a customer disappear for awhile. When he returned, the poor guy looked like death warmed over.
He had just suffered through several days of priapism and told us, when we stopped laughing, that he would have gladly eaten a bullet to get rid of the pain.
The jokes became a little hollow the more we looked at his face, but it was just not possible to avoid laughing.

Adult dosing for pulmonary hypertension is 20mg tid at 4-6 hr intervals.. Assuming avg body weight of an adult male to be 75-100kg..That works out to be 0.6mg/kg to 0.8mg/kg.(0.27mg/lb-0.36mg/lb)
If you crush and suspend 1 tab 25mg in 25ml of diluent gives 1mg/ml. Hope this helps.
What’s the big deal about 4-hour erections? I’m pretty sure I had an erection from my junior year of high school till I graduated from college.
Can't fish until April.
Can't smoke any tobacco product anywhere.
Can't risk going to a bar.
Can't just drive around because of the price of fuel and the only folks that seem to have an unlimited supply of fuel are the "Click It or Ticket" Nazis.
Anyone contemplating a barbecue hasn't checked the price of beef, pork, or even chicken lately.
Not a whole lot of entertainment available on TV unless you're some sort of sports fan.
That only leaves one thing............"Viva Viagra!"
We laughed so hard when one of my friends told us that I think everyone started spitting their drinks out. The Smurf named Horny jokes flew and he has yet to live it down. Sad thing is that he was late 20’s when we was using it as an enhancement, he didn’t really need it....sure, TMI.
Someone mentioned that warning from the commercials the other day, "If you experience an erection lasting more than four hours seek immediate medical attention." What everyone said was if they had that happen they'd immediately go buy lottery tickets. It's obviously their lucky day!
I’d never heard of that effect until this thread.

i havent seen it in any medical book, but then again i havent looked. Guess they wont be using it in an ad campagn unless it starts out “feeling a little blue...?” and it turn out to be one of those class action lawsuit scum-sucking shark law firms.
