PRESIDENT Robert Mugabe has vowed that Zimbabwe's main opposition party will never rule during his lifetime and threatened to expel companies from Zimbabwe's former colonial ruler Britain ...
Britain, which has led international criticism of Mugabe for violating political and human rights in his country and plunging it into a disastrous economic crisis, says only 40 British firms remain operating in the country.
Mugabe's relations deteriorated with Western nations after he embarked in 2000 on a controversial land reform scheme that saw about 4000 white-owned farms seized...
Mugabe also urged Zimbabweans yesterday to help acquire a majority stake in mining and manufacturing firms after a new equity law that only allows firms to restructure or merge if locals hold 51 per cent of shares.
There are fears the law could plunge the country even deeper into the economic mire.
Once a net agricultural exporter, Zimbabwe is reeling under food shortages, while the economy buckles under a mind-boggling annual inflation rate of 100,000-plus per cent.
Both unemployment and poverty rates hover above 80 per cent and at least a quarter of the population has fled misery to seek economic refuge elsewhere.
Mr Tsvangirai has warned that the March 29 polls could be rigged in favour of Mugabe and has threatened to pull out of the elections if presidential ballots are counted at a separate venue from concurrent legislative and local votes.
He told a news conference last week that independent investigations had revealed that 90,000 names appearing on the roll for 28 rural constituencies could not be accounted for.

Hm, that would seem to make the options for removing him from power rather simple, wouldn’t it?
This guy sounds a lot like Detroit's Mayor - Kwame Kilpatrick. Maybe they are from the same Tribe?
IMO
Hopefully someone in Zimbabwe will term-limit Mugabe sooner rather than later.
I think this can be arranged.
It would be good if his rule ends by tomorrow.
Just a question. Wouldn’t it be a lot more productive to siphon off a moderate amount from the previously thriving Zim economy, than to loot everything in sight from the present backetcase? There isn’t a whole lot left there to steal.
IOW, it doesn’t even seem like smart thievery from an economic standpoint.
tomorrow works for me.
Mugabe should have been “removed” a long time ago.
I have never given Mugage and Thug, Inc. a dimes worth of brains. He has been plundering and pillaging for years and needed racial outrage to cover his tracks of killings, etc. IMO
It’s nice to see Africans doing so much better without the help of white racist devils. Calling Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Where are you?
It seems they’re not yet ready for a white president!;)
Welllllllll, Lord, God, you heard the creature.
Please facilitate it occurring ASAP . . . preferably publically in the most humiliating way possible.
And between now and then, may he have vivid nightmares about all the reaping of all he’s sown that he has to look forward to for a very long time.
If there’s a shred of a chance for confession and repentance and restitution in some miniscule token way—given that’s the most that would be possible, fine.
If not . . . may his nightmares get progressively more painfully and frightfully haunting each night until he graduates from this life.
May he feel the pains in his nightmares of all the pains he has caused countless people.
May he be publically humiliated relentlessly for his stupidities.
May his countrymen begin to spit at the mere mention of his name or sight of his photos.
May his own body guards turn on him and give him an abundant taste of his own medicine.
Whatever best fits your wisdom and justice, Lord . . . just please . . . make a very vivid example of him.
In Your Name, Lord Jesus.
Amen.
Anyone else feel like agreeing in a similar prayer?
Mugabe vows to rule until death
Until he dies, or everyone else?
Ok, Bob. So die already.
The paradox is Zim. was a wealthy agricultural country
until the whites were expelled from leadership.
It’s great disaster how good intentions to end apartheid
led to a colossal failure.
What happened to the MSM? We heard about the evils of the white ruling class daily. Now the country is destroyed.
Not one negative word about Mugabe.
“All cultures are equal”...
“Diversity is our strength”...
“Multiculturalism is the spice of society”...
Bull Squat
“Even the jungle wanted him dead”.
Lets hope his rule ends quickly.
