Eli Manning will probably be in the last five minute segment of the show. Did you see his photos on the Day in the Life thread when he was at the White House this week?

Hopefully most ministers(if that's what they truly are)will run away from political hate speech at the pulpit. That's never been their purpose or mission.

In Richardson's case Boma must have given him VP assurances the Hillary wouldn't do.

He learned how to play the game with the best as a former Clintonista. He was a high ranking member in the Clinton Crime family and learned quickly how to drive the bus and how and when to run over useless political types.

Easter blessings!

Did Timmy Russert have to scrap his Sunday show when it was revealed that the CEO of "Passport" Analysis Corp. is an Obama advisor?

Hopefully most ministers(if that's what they truly are)will run away from political hate speech at the pulpit.

As I said the other day, we wonder why there is so much racism in the USA, until we hear the hate spewed from the pulpits of the Black Liberation Movement.

If my pastor ever spouted that type of hate from the pulpit, I'd get up and walk out. I'd be changing churches the following week.

Speaking of church, I have to be there in 30 minutes. Later.

One of my brunch offerings is a pasta with tomatoes, spinach and feta.

I'll be dining on Peeps.

Is Richardson in a Mookie Al Sadr look-a-like contest?

Morning AB, All...Happy Easter.

Went to Easter Vigil last night. Never did such a thing, perhaps I should be ashamed.

Candles, church in dark, bishop presiding.

Came home and watched Easter Vigil again on EWTN at the Bascillica in DC, such was my fascination.

This first segment of MTP is not very interesting, although maybe the guys will enjoy it if you put it on mute.

That service really brings home the connection back to the first Easter rising. I have been to it in a tiny church and in a huge cathedral. A powerful experience either way.

I just found a cd of nature sounds and am listening to waves crossing a reef right now Takes me back to my years of the cruising life. More interesting than Russert or Wallace.

I did Easter vigil last night, too. I was also the lector. I did a LOT of reading last night! A beautiful Spring night here in Alabama. Warm, flowers and trees (and pollen) in full bloom; we lit the fire in the glow of the setting sun. A very nice service, but no one to baptise this year.

Easter is a bittersweet time for me. I know Jesus had to die for our sins and in order to fufill prophecy, but His death so points out our human ugliness. After all, last Sunday we celebrated His entry into Jerusalem, with palms and songs of praise. In less than a week most of Jerusalem wanted Him killed. How fickle mankind is.

Even a political lesson, when you think about it.

It sure does.

And while I didn’t notice much in my own service since I was, to quote Obama yo mama, “in the pew”, I couldn’t help but notice the thousands of people receiving communion on the EWTN televised service. I couldn’t help but notice the many races and nationalities of people who felt that attending this service was so important that they put their pre-Easter life on hold to attend.

But the most important thing I noted was of the many speakers (and this mass had the ARCH-Bishop presiding, I didn’t even know there was such a thing) was that not one preacher spoke of anything but the word of God, or lead a solemn prayer, or praised the heavens for Jesus Christ has arisen.

In other words...no hatred, vitriol, spewing of words never seen in a bible anywhere on this planet. Just prayer and faith and joy.

Yes, for the first time in my life, I noticed this. Wonder why.

Four people were confirmed last night.

I’ve never been confirmed.

It’s my next major goal in life.

I think he(Richardson) was so used to looking like a mafioso from being a member of the CCF(clinton crime family) for so long that he just naturally gravitated to the mobster look for potentially being Boma's VP.
