Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Tuesday that the Bush administration has done nothing to defuse a "quiet riot" among blacks that threatens to erupt just as riots in Los Angeles did 15 years ago.
The first-term Illinois senator said that with black people from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast still displaced 20 months after Hurricane Katrina, frustration and resentments are building explosively as they did before the 1992 riots.
"This administration was colorblind in its incompetence," Obama said at a conference of black clergy, "but the poverty and the hopelessness was there long before the hurricane.
"All the hurricane did was to pull the curtain back for all the world to see," he said.
Obama's criticism of Bush prompted ovation after ovation from the nearly 8,000 people gathered in Hampton University's Convocation Center, particularly when he denounced the Iraq war and noted that he had opposed it from the outset.

You know there will be riots if Obama doesn’t get elected. The black ‘leaders’ will claim the election was stolen. Very sad.
This is old news...June 2007. He said this back when he was much more under the radar, when Hillary was the “overwhelming” favorite to win the Rat nomination.

Barack’s campaign came out and mentioned something we have been chuckling about here for three months and that is that Hillary & Bill are willing to totally destroy the Democratic party over her getting the nomination.
Of course they are. Betweent them they have 80 years of service to the Democratic party and it is payback time to the Clintons for all those years. If they don’t get the payback after lifetimes of service, they will gladly destroy the party.

I thought that myself. Whites were also displaced, but they aren’t rioting. Could it be that whites do not fall victim to the enslavement of race hustlers & government programs, and are therefore more self-reliant to move on with their lives?
Has the black leadership let down black people by herding them into the collective farm of on dependency government programs? Oh surely, that cannot be..../s/
