I think the standard IS whatever would be issued in the military to a soldier.

Wow! Ginsberg just opened the Miller “reasonableness to use in the militia”.

Not really, but I think he is leading Ginsberg down the path of possibly correcting Miller.
This would be one of the best possible outcomes.
I still believe this is going to be a narrow decision, BUT it may open a Pandora's Box.

Freaking awesome. Kennedy on our side. It’s going for us, question remains how weighted and what the opinions read.

That’s a good quote for today’s ruling, but I think the trouble is that if you follow Miller, I think you have to get to the result that machine guns ARE protected by the Second Amendment, and I think that the justices aren’t willing to go there. In this respect, I think Clement was absolutely correct.
Miller presents sort of a problem. I wonder if it will be overruled?

Gura certainly knows his history!

I don’t know, I think they are gearing up for a direct impact on the machine gun ban. It’s being floated far too much in this case.
I think Miller will be fixed after this decision.

I don't want to depend on modern-day LEO to protect my home.
(I have a funny story about this.)
AND this is in no way a sign of disrespect of the Law Enforcement Agencies.

If Miller gets overruled say good-bye to the $200 tax stamp transfers. That’s what the Miller case was actually about.
