That’s a good quote for today’s ruling, but I think the trouble is that if you follow Miller, I think you have to get to the result that machine guns ARE protected by the Second Amendment, and I think that the justices aren’t willing to go there. In this respect, I think Clement was absolutely correct.
Miller presents sort of a problem. I wonder if it will be overruled?
I don’t know, I think they are gearing up for a direct impact on the machine gun ban. It’s being floated far too much in this case.
I think Miller will be fixed after this decision.
If Miller gets overruled say good-bye to the $200 tax stamp transfers. That’s what the Miller case was actually about.
