An (almost) airtight alibi, refuting the charge that he was present in church and nodding along last summer when Wright indicted the “United States of White America.” So much for Newsmax’s credibility. People were ripping on me in the comments to the Juan Williams post for having called the Messiah a shrewd politician but just look at the game he’s got us playing here — trying to place him physically at the scene of any single sermon at a church he patronized for 20 years, as if absent that evidence we might have to believe his feigned ignorance. Newsmax’s info was bogus? Well, maybe he really didn’t know after all!

They are all suspect but lets be real here. Even if disproven 1 day misreported doesn’t excuse 20 years of being conveniently deaf.

Well, Obama’s explanations have been pretty weak to this point. Additionally, Hannity read several passages from his book where it’s clear Obama not only attended plenty of Wright’s hateful sermons, he included passages in his book. You’d have to be a complete cave-dweller to believe Obama didn’t know about all this.
That said, right now this story is, in my opinion, in one of two places. The Obama campaign is saying very specifically he wasn’t in church that day. Newsmax has admitted it’s possible it was another Sunday in July. The author is sticking with that. I believe (but I’m not 100% sure) that he’s also sticking with the claim that Wright preached his standard racism. (That’s not a stretch at all.) Simply because it may have happened on another day in July doesn’t change a thing.
To sophisticated voters, there is. :)

A 7:30 am service (Central Time) in Chicago and a 1:30 pm (Eastern Time, or 2:30 pm Central Time) appearance in Miami, 2.5 hours away by plane. It is certainly well within the realm of possibility that Obambi made both appearances; unless there is more detail provided to show a true air-tight “alibi” this Miami event refutes nothing.
btw, it’s a great dilemma for Obambi’s people — was he with black racists in Chicago or “Hispanic” racists in Miami?? Either way he’s not going to win over Middle America and “Reagan Democrats” with his explanations....
Question - am I missing something, or is his “alibi” simply that he was in Florida later that day? That was acknowledged at the start of this incident.
