Shazam, Wright gets his wish...
“Obama subjecting his daughters to this cult-racist preacher may actually be considered child abuse in some states.”
Have you considered that, the child abuse that the daughters were subjected to in church, also continued at home?
“...We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty....
Has the Rev. Wright ever counted the total amount of aid given by the nasty West to the thurd world since WWII? What has all that money bought them except continued poverty? In whose pockets did the money end up and where did the rest go? Many of the countries in the 3rd world were better off when they were still colonies of Whitey.
Those were the bad times of no mass murder and no famine.
There are more people in prisons and jails today than ever before but it is still less than 1 percent of the population. If 2 percent were locked up we might have a lot less crime.
Obama is like Spitzer, both hypocrites. Spitzer busts prostitution rings but pays for prostitutes. Obama says he will unite people but goes to a racist “church”.
A slicker Jesse Jackson version 2.0
You are not alone. My best friend, a lifelong Democrat, has said the exact same thing. She never liked Hillary an was leaning toward Obama until his minister’s ravings became widely known. There is no way he cannot have been influenced by this tripe is he has stayed at that church for 20+ years.
Welcome to FR. There’s lots to read here. I don’t always agree with everything said but I’ve learned more here and seen more breaking stories here that I have never seen anywhere else.
Senator B. (whose middle name must NOT be spoken out loud) Obama is even MORE divisive than Hillary (if that is even possible).
If you want to SPLIT and DIVIDE this country even MORE WIDE OPEN along racial lines,,,,
Senator B. (whose middle name must NOT be spoken out loud) Obama and his vitriolic, nasty, bitter, anti-American wife....
ARE THE RIGHT COUPLE FOR THE JOB!!!!
Wright was not only a close friend, a spiritual advisor, MENTOR, and Pastor FOR OVER 20 YEARS,,,who also married him and his wife,,,,baptised his kids....
and we are expected to believe that Senator B. (whose name must NOT be spoken) Obama HAD NO IDEA THAT WRIGHT WAS A RACIST????
Only a mindless democrat could possibly believe a lie that blatant!!!
A bald-faced lie like that doesn't even pass the "Sniff Test".
Ooops,,,,I forgot to add that Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama also contributed over $20,000 to the racist, Wright. Anyone could have contributed that much and made the simple mistake of not realizing that Wright was a sickening racist. /s
I am not talking fairness, but reality. I am sure Wright had the same attitude back then and that is why he could not make it in the military.
It seems his new career field enabled him to acquire a $778,000.00 home, a new Porsche and still blame (Whitey) for all the troubles of his peeps.
Wright is the type individual who would not have returned on a night partol in Nam with his type of attitude.
In closing, I was promoted to Ssg E-6 in 30 months, due to hard work and maintaining a constant (can do ) attitude.
Did you make the military a career or just served out your enlistment? (Anyway) thank you for your service to our country.
P.S. as to Wright (God Dam his disloyal service to our country back Then and Now.

Well those who commit the crimes, come home to roost in the prisons.
If one is out there committing crimes, then their sorry ass belongs in jail for eternity.
Wright should be preaching about (self-responsiblility) not hating America & Whitey.
Respectfully,

Why doesn't a blatant racist like Wright address why the black DROP OUT RATE in most big city public high schools is 50%????
Same reality, and still talking fairness. I was among the “creme de la creme” of the Navy at the time (at least, that’s the BS they fed us) - trained in avionics and flew aboard P-3s. I finished my first enlistment, got out for 15 months and discovered that Vietnam era veterans weren’t wanted in America and reenlisted. I ended up in an EA-6B squadron (still E-4) and was made night shift supervisor for the IMA shop at Cubi when my squadron deployed aboard the Chicken Hawk. During that enlistment, I was recommended for two letters of Commendation, both of which were suppressed by my squadron; one of which was for providing support above the call of duty for my squadron’s avionics needs.
In my first enlistment, I took the E-5 exam, but lacked the requisite time on my enlistment for promotion since I was going to be getting out soon. On the second enlistment, same rules applied - it was a 2-year hitch and I wouldn’t have enough time to put the E-5 stripes on if I passed the test.
Time in rate requirements have changed based on the needs of the Navy. During my service days, I took the tests as soon as I was eligible, but I am one of thousands of sailors the Navy denied promotion to due to the time in rate requirements. Our time in rate requirements were very different from those of the other services at the time. I don’t know what they are like today.
As an aside, please don’t thank me for my service. I was burned by Fonda/Kerry and, even though I was only in ‘Nam for 10 days on a detachment out of Japan flying coastal patrols, I was treated by my “fellow countrymen” as the worst sort of person on earth. Convicted criminals aren’t treated as badly. For serving my country during an unpopular war, I could barely get scut work jobs, even with training in a high-tech skill.
Yes, I’m still bitter about and try to keep it well in the back of my mind and out of my thoughts. Thanking me for my service is simply meaningless to me.
I first say, did you have a superivisor who recognized your work and went to the carpet for you?
Q. Do you think think the test were rigged against you? The time in grade requirement was the same in the US Army. Also, waivers in time in grade were in affect at the time.
Q. Why would your squadron commander suppress (2) letters of commendation if you were an E-4 doing a successful job in an E-6 slot??????
Q. Who told you they put you in for those letters of commendation”???
Q. Did you see the originals or copies of the alleged letters of commendation???
I have found in the military (some) supervisors will say they are going to submit a letter of commendation for a subordinate, but lack the writng skills to compose such a letter.
Maybe it was like the (LOCs) that were submitted on me, but never made it to my 2-1. No big deal to me, those things happen.
I made E-5 in in fourteen months of service. I was reqired to meet the minimum time in grade requirement of 12 -15 months(did not get a waiver) to obtain E-6 which I did.
The military is not for everyone. I summize it was probably best for the Navy and yourself that you ETS’d.
I served during the Viet Nam conflict and so did many of my friends. I chose to make a career of the military, but many of my friends returned to civilian life where they prospered.
As to your service and based on your attitude:
“I take back my comments, on thanking you for your service to our country”.
Q. Do you embrace the same philosophy as the Rev Wright and his misfits of America?????????
In closing,
Q. Do you possibly think your supervisors’ may have actually submitted “Letter(s) of Condemnation” in your behalf, as opposed to “Letters of Commendation”???????
P.S. I hope your life since you left the military has been more than a (Dusty Moment) in time.

One wonders if Barry Huessin Obama will use his BLACK voice for his speech today.

Good question,,,,but I notice he’s got lots and lots of flags behind him on stage....lol
Ummmmmmmm . . . . . . when we are talking about the Navy, I'd say that "going to the carpet" is an ill advised term. :-)
Do you think think the test were rigged against you?
Please . . . . . I'm bitter about the things that occurred to me in the aftermath of my service associated with 'Nam - NOT paranoid!! In addition, it WASN'T the tests, it was the TIME IN RATE REQUIREMENT that prevented me from making E-5.
Why would your squadron commander suppress (2) letters of commendation if you were an E-4 doing a successful job in an E-6 slot??????
Ask him and get back to me.
Who told you they put you in for those letters of commendation???
The people who wrote them, including my shop supervisor.
Did you see the originals or copies of the alleged letters of commendation???
Nope. I was an E-4, not someone they had to kiss up to. Why would they lie to me about that?
I made E-5 in in fourteen months of service.
So, I guess you're saying it sucks to be me, huh? I made E-4 in about the first year and 1/2 of my initial enlistment. From E-4 to E-5, it was a minimum of 24 months time in rate. By the time I was eligible and took the test, I didn't have enough time remaining on my original contract to put on the E-5 insignia. That was life in the Navy in those days.
Do you embrace the same philosophy as the Rev Wright and his misfits of America?????????
What are you, kidding me!!?? Again, I'm bitter about the aftermath of my service associated with 'Nam, NOT a racist bigot, nor a liberal fruitcake who sees everything in terms of white and slavery!!
Do you possibly think your supervisors may have actually submitted Letter(s) of Condemnation in your behalf, as opposed to Letters of Commendation???????
Yes, that MUST be it!! Is THIS my Dr. Phil moment?? (/sarc). I was routinely rated at about 3.9 out of 4.0 on my quarterly marks by my superiors, was never in trouble and probably would have been rated even higher but there was (and probably still is) a prevailing opnion held by many of my superiors that "there is no such thing as a 4.0 sailor!".
I hope your life since you left the military has been more than a (Dusty Moment) in time.
Thank you, my life has been fine. I have earned my MBA (and minor'ed in Psychology), worked in several companies at management levels and am currently working as a technical trainer for a leading microwave radio manufacturer. I hope that your post-military life has been equally rewarding.
I believe things turned out good for you in the civilian sector. MBA, not too shabby either.
