So far, I have just seen a very short clip of Barry during a sermon. However, the audio in the background didn’t sound like one of the super offensive sermons. However, the clip does prove that he has been present during a sermon by the “reverend.”

Jenkins
Ladies and gentlemen
On behalf of all the people who have assembled here
I would merely like to mention if I may
That our unanimous attitude
Is one of lasting gratitude
For what our friend has done for us today
And therefore I would simply like to say

Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
That’s the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for me
I may sound Double-Dutch
But my delight is such
I feel as if a losing war’s been won for me
And if I had a flag I’d hang my flag out
To add a sort of final victory touch
But since I left my flag at home
I’ll simply have to say
Thank you very, very, very much!

Company
Thank you very, very, very much!

Tom Jenkins
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
That’s the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for me
It sounds a bit bizarre
But things the way they are
I feel as if another life’s begun for me

Company
And if I had a cannon I would fire it
To add a sort of celebration touch
But since I left my cannon at home
I’ll simply have to say

Scrooge
Thank you very, very, very much!

Company
Thank you very, very, very much!

Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
That’s the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for me
It isn’t everyday
Good fortune comes my way
I never thought the future would be fun for me
And if I had a bugle I would blow it
To add a sort of ‘ow’s-your-father touch
But since I left my bugle at home
I’ll simply have to say
Thank you very, very, very much

Scrooge
No, my friends, it is I who should be thankful to you!

Company
For he’s a jolly good fellow
For he’s a jolly good fellow

Scrooge
For I’m a jolly good fellow

Company
And so say all of us

Thank you very, very much
(Tom Jenkins: Thank you very much!)
Thank you very, very much
(Tom Jenkins: That’s the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for me)
Thank you very, very much
(Tom Jenkins: The future looks all right)
Thank you very much
(Tom Jenkins: In fact it looks so bright)
Thank you very much
(Tom Jenkins: I feel as if they’re polishing the sun for me)
Thank you very much
Thank you very much
Thank you very, very, very, very much

And if I had a drum I’d have to bang it!
To add a sort of rumty-tumty touch
But since I left my drum at home
I’ll simply have to say
Thank you very, very, very much!
Thank you very, very, very much!

I don’t think he said he was never present for one of Wright’s sermons. He said he wasn’t there when “these offensive remarks” were made (or something like that).

If Barry’s defense is going to be that he never heard one of these speeches, then that preszent two possibilities. One, that he is flat-out lying, which is bad enough. Second, he is completely naive and blind. Imagine being a memnber of a church for two decades and not knowing what your pastor believes or preaches. Even if you didn’t attend most of his sermons, you would hear something of his speeches/sermons from fellow congregants.

What drew him to a racist church in the first place?

You’re trying to get us drunk, aren’t you?

How else do you listen to an Obambi speech without vomiting from all the saccharine, empty platitudes and cliches?

Not only that, imagine being a member of a church with a congregation that reacted to hate filled venom the way those people did.

"He ain't rich."

Huh? Then how can he and Michelle afford to buy a house that cost OVER $1,000,000?

Michelle's yearly salary is OVER $300,000, and yet she whines about not being able to make ends meet.

But they "ain't rich", you know.

That is the question. The follow-up question is this: Why did he remain? Even if he never attended one of the psycho sermons, he would have heard something from one of the other members. Also, this man, according to Obambi himself, is his spiritual mentor and friend. If you claim a public figure like this as a mentor and friend, then you'd think that you would have a clue as to his beliefs.

He said he wasn’t there when “these offensive remarks” were made (or something like that).

That is a very weak defense on his part because he claims this man is his spiritual mentor and close friend. If you knew someone for 20 years who made speeches like this, don't you think that you would have heard him discuss these beliefs with you? At least one of the other members would have told you or said something about the sermon.

I think you might have meant to respond to someone else.

Don’t worry about it. It’s all good.

One of the most disturbing speeches was the Sunday following the 11 September 2001 attacks. So, Obambi was in church on the Sunday following such and event? He wasn't in what he calls his church home on such a day? He wasn't there to hear his "spiritual mentor" speak on such a day? Even if that is true, then we are expected to believe that he never heard anything of that sermon in the past seven years? We are expected to believe that a fellow congregant didn't say, "Barrak, you missed one heck of a serom last Sunday. The pastor said that whitey got what he deserved on September 11." So, Barry expects us to believe that he rarely attends church and never interacts with any of the other members. So much for being his church home. Also, we are expected to believe that Barry never heard Wright (his spiritual mentor), in two decades, discuss these beliefs?

I thought of that, but in fairness, we really don’t know where he was that Sunday.

This is unbelievable to me. Don’t get me wrong: the man’s a radical activist and I certainly don’t want him as president. But I had come to admire him for his efforts to rise above race and the Clinton’s destructive style of politics. He seems to have a good “ear” and he’s done so well so far in this campaign. How could he have had such a tin ear on Wright?! How could his advisors not have noticed this 800 lb gorilla in the room? It doesn’t add up.

There’s something creepy about it.

Well, Barry said on Fox tonight that he hadn’t heard that speech/sermon until today. So, we are expected to believe that in seven years his “spiritual mentor” never said, “Barrak, you missed my sermon on how whitey got what was due to him on 9/11.” In seven years none of the other members told him about it? The sermons are available on CD and DVD through the Church (they were the last time I visited the website). So, Barry never obtained a copy so that he could listen to his “spiritual mentor” preach about 11 September 2001? Barry has said over and over again that the reverend is his spiritual mentor and close friend.

If you were friends with you pastor for 20 years, don’t you think that you would have some clue as to what he has said in the pulpit? Especially if he had said things that were controversial and racist?
